We hired Petadev to develop and continuously improve our complete guard patrol verification system, including the mobile application and web-based management platform. The scope of work covered end-to-end system development, focusing on a GPS- and QR-code–based patrol control solution, ensuring reliable patrol verification, real-time monitoring, and scalability for professional security operations.

Petadev is responsible for the full scope of development of our guard patrol verification system. Their work includes mobile application development for iOS and Android and publishing and maintaining the apps in the official app stores. They’ve also developed custom image-analysis AI, along with proprietary patrol verification, validation, and evaluation algorithms to detect anomalies and ensure reliable patrol confirmation.In addition, Petadev has handled web design and development for the management platform, delivering a complete, end-to-end system covering mobile apps, backend logic, AI components, and the web interface.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project has resulted in measurable business growth and international expansion. Following the launch and continuous improvement of the platform, we’ve successfully expanded operations into the US, South America, and Eastern Europe. A key outcome has been the implementation of a multilingual user interface, which has enabled efficient adoption across different regions and supported local market requirements. The system has proven scalable and reliable in multiple markets, allowing us to onboard international clients, deploy the solution globally, and support cross-regional security operations. These results clearly demonstrate both progress and long-term success.

How did Petadev perform from a project management standpoint?

Petadev has demonstrated strong project management throughout the collaboration. The team is precise, reliable, and highly conscientious, with clear communication and well-structured workflows. Deliverables have been consistently well-organized and aligned with agreed-upon timelines. We’ve especially highlighted the leadership of Martin (CEO), whose professionalism, technical understanding, and hands-on involvement have ensured smooth coordination and timely delivery. Overall, the project has been managed efficiently, and milestones have been met as planned. We communicate through in-person and virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

What has stood out the most is Petadev’s ability to support international expansion in a structured and practical way. They understand the technical, operational, and scalability requirements of entering foreign markets and have helped us successfully launch and operate the platform across multiple regions. Their experience with multi-region deployments and international readiness has made global expansion significantly faster and more efficient.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing significant we would change. Petadev has delivered the project to a very high standard, and we’re satisfied with both the process and the results. Communication, execution, and overall collaboration have met our expectations throughout the engagement.

I’m the founder and CEO of Ostva LLC, a sharing economy mobile app company. We have a peer-to-peer platform that lets people rent out items and complete local tasks to earn money and access resources more easily.

We hired Petadev to develop our first MVP, which turned out to be the actual product.

Can you describe the scope of work Petadev handled for your project?

Petadev has been responsible for developing our mobile app. From the beginning, they were there during the UX/UI design phase, the development, and the ongoing brainstorming about how to make the app better, which features we should add or remove, and overall just comprehensive assistance throughout the entire development process. The main deliverables have been a working mobile app and an admin site.

We started working with them in October 2023, and our engagement is ongoing with the app already launched but with regular maintenance work still being worked on up to today.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Petadev has delivered features and reached milestones. For example, they added a messaging feature, which was a must in the app for our users to be able to communicate. We’ve received positive feedback about this feature.

How did Petadev perform from a project management standpoint?

Petadev has delivered on time, and if they’re behind, they work overtime to finish on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

We’re impressed by how customer-centric they are and how their owner wants to ensure the customer gets what they want exactly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Given that we were building a startup product from scratch, most challenges were related to evolving requirements and shifting priorities rather than the capabilities of the team. In the future, I would personally focus on more defined processes and communication frameworks to keep everything aligned, but the quality of the team and the development work itself was excellent.
