I’m the co-founder and COO of a SaaS platform for independent schools.

What challenge were you trying to address with Peeklogic, LLC?
We needed to develop a totally customized software based on our strategy. We aimed to help the admissions team enroll students more efficiently and increase the number of applications from current inquiries.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Peeklogic, LLC, has developed everything from scratch. My two co-founders and I initially had ideas about what we wanted to see. We first met with Peeklogic, LLC’s CEO to walk them through what we were looking for. He let us know about their team and how they operated. Then, they sent us the scope of work to review and see how many hours the project would be quoted on. We accepted and approved that.
Afterward, we had our kickoff meeting. We had a mock-up design of what it should look like, but the functionality and process were based on the three co-founders and the designer. From there, Peeklogic, LLC has built the app using Salesforce.
The portal allows users to log in and provide us with their information. From there, the automated communication goes out through SMS and email. Additionally, dashboards are available for reporting, so everything is customized for the end user.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 5–8 teammates, including a project manager and a mix of developers.
How did you come to work with Peeklogic, LLC?
I’m not entirely sure how we found them. It could’ve been through LinkedIn, searching for Salesforce developers on Google, or through Upwork, and then we spoke with them directly.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in November 2023, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We measure success by the program's functionality. We’ve been testing it and running QA, so we're satisfied as long as it passes our QA tests.
How did Peeklogic, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is excellent. Peeklogic, LLC sends us weekly reports, and we’ve met with them every week throughout our engagement. Moreover, they’re easy to reach.
We communicate through Slack, Google Meet, and email. They also used Trello at one point.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
Olha (IT Project Manager) is fantastic. Sergii (CEO, Founder & Salesforce Architect) leads the organization and is easy to deal with. On the programming side, Martha (Head of the Recruitment Department), Roman, and Khrystyna (Salesforce Developers) are all fantastic, and we continue to work with them.

They’re highly efficient and well-organized. Moreover, Peeklogic, LLC has skilled programmers, and all team members have done a great job.

No, they’re great. When you work with a new partner, there are some ebbs and flows that you must understand first. Once we understood each other, everything was fantastic.

We utilized the Peeklogic Connector for Salesforce. The functionality of the tool met all our needs that other tools do not. It has a simple to use interface for set up, flexibility to prepopulate and default values when creating jira issues, provides for individual user authentication into Jira if needed (or a single named integration user) and provides a great user interface for creating, finding/associating, and viewing Jira information. The reporting capabilities are also better than other connectors as the Jira data is copied into custom objects in Salesforce, giving the ability to report on Jira issues just like any other salesforce data.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Not complete with the project yet, but the expecation is:
Less time spent on interaction between teams who work in Salesforce and teams who work in Jira (less hunting for a jira ticket to check on the status) This should lead to better customer experience and a reduction in time to resolution of customer tickets

We opted to implement ourselves due to it being SO simple to manage. We have an open channel for any questions we can't resolve on our own and the team is very responsive to get back to us with answers. If we wanted to, we could have had Peeklogic do all the setup and implementation, but we wanted to dive into it ourselves and be able to support it post go live on our own.

We set out to build our custom software on Salesforce.
Peeklogic came on very early to the project when most of what we had was early wireframes. They were able to understand what we were looking for and built a scope of work.
One of the key challenges we brought to the table was that we didn't want Aryval to look like a Salesforce system, and every element needed to be customly designed.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The current version of Aryval is technically version 1.0, but in reality it is much more developed than that. With it, we have live customers and have already run successful events. The Peeklogic team was able to bend Saleforce to their will as there is nothing about Aryval that looks like Salesforce. The design is a 1-to-1 recreation of what our UI designer was able to produce.

Even with the best laid plans, software development can be unpredictable.
While the overall project took quite a bit longer than originally estimated, the additional time was due to the scope of work expanding. Whenever there was a need for a development sprint, Peeklogic was able to meet our timelines.
With us located in Canada, we knew there would be challenges with our entire development team being on an opposite timezone to us. Outside of having thoughtful overcommunication each night and multiple standing meetings throughout the week the development went really smoothly. Peeklogic even made themselves available in their evening (our afternoon) during any emergencies.

You can tell — based on every single interaction with them — that customer service is a priority.
It is easy to provide good customer service when things are going smoothly, but Peeklogic was always easy to work, even during the tough conversations that inevitably crop up during development.

I think we both iterated and improved our processes/communications together throughout development.

They are very timely and understanding when there are project delays. After communicating with them, they started updating with the time they took to work on something as well. The work was always to the specifications of the instructions!

Configuring S-Docs is extremely difficult and finicky to work with, but it was done with ease by Peeklogic. Very happy with the results!

Make sure that you are transparent with hours worked. It was a little frustrating to continue asking for how long it took to do some things in the beginning. However, even throughout this project the contractors started volunteering that info on their own! After that I had no complaints
