A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an IT director at an appliance design company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Peeklogic, LLC?
We needed someone to create a customer portal for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Peeklogic, LLC developed our Salesforce customer portal, as well as our customer feedback system. They first analyzed our business model before proposing solutions, which they then started to develop. Their scope of work included both front- and backend development using Apex and Java.
After our initial discussions, I mostly deferred to their expertise in the development process. Their work is now being fully utilized by our customer service team.
What is the team composition?
I work with four people.
How did you come to work with Peeklogic, LLC?
I found them on a freelance site, and they were one of the most responsive vendors that we reached out to. I explored their past work and read their reviews. Upon conversing with them over Skype, I was left with a great impression. I then went to Ukraine and met with them in person, and that kicked off our relationship.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent somewhere between $4,000–$5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together 4-5 months ago and have an ongoing relationship.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Peeklogic, LLC’s work has improved our customer service tremendously. In fact, they’re the best company I’ve ever worked with. Their work is consistently high-quality, and they’ll do their best to meet whatever your needs are. They’re also not afraid to advise you against an idea if they think it’ll harm your chances of success.
Additionally, their team is comprised of friendly experts who are extremely easy to work with. We’ve definitely become friends over the course of the engagement.
How did Peeklogic, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
While we handle project management on our side, they did assign a teammate to serve as a project manager on their side. He did a great job of assigning tasks to the appropriate expert. They leveraged communication and PM tools well.
The entire team was always available and would stay up late if needed. Their internal culture is phenomenal, where a timely delivery is of utmost priority.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re good people who really know what they’re doing. They’re always busy, because their developers are non-stop coding. Their code is always bug-free.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m very satisfied with their work, but perhaps they could expand their team to increase the resources they can provide.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a good plan in place and a clear understanding of the process. Once they are clear on what needs to be done, they’ll be able to deliver on time.

SAGE INTACCT SALESFORCE INTEGRATION
We developed this Sage Intacct Salesforce integration, as well as an automation in order to make sure that we synced only the Accounts that contained all of the required data.
Thus, after an Account is synced to Intacct, our automation locks the record. Locking the record is done to make sure that sensitive data is not updated after it is sent to a finance team for processing.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of philanthropy for a nonprofit organization focused on protecting the wildlife and Indigenous community within a conservancy in Kenya.
What challenge were you trying to address with Peeklogic, LLC?
We needed help to develop our Salesforce platform through the nonprofit’s backend.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Peeklogic migrated our data from previous data sets into Salesforce to create a single source and help communication between the systems we use to message donors and collect internal information. They assisted us with development and helped to put everything together. Initially, they mapped out a robust work plan to engage in various tasks within the project itself. We provided them with multiple data sets from the large batches of information on our database.
Additionally, Peeklogic connected some of our other software and service platforms to the Salesforce platform.
What is the team composition?
We only worked with the director of communications and marketing.
How did you come to work with Peeklogic, LLC?
We found them on Upwork and began a conversation with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent under $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from September–November 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They solved problems as they presented themselves throughout the process. In the end, they migrated nearly 9,000 pieces of content and an untold number of lines of data into our Salesforce platform. Overall, working with them was an absolute pleasure.
How did Peeklogic, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
They clearly outlined a regular communication strategy from day one and ensured they stayed on top of the project’s timeline. We also didn’t impact the cost; they aligned with the initial budget.
We began communicating on Upwork and quickly transitioned to an invoicing platform. From there, we communicated through Slack every week to manage expectations and deliverables. Additionally, we had multiple weekly meetings via Zoom.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were incredibly professional. The team had a detailed work plan and maintained efficiency while working on multiple tasks. Peeklogic was communicative, especially with their ability to outline from a task management perspective. Moreover, they worked with us to understand our needs and customize the activities to complete the project successfully. All in all, they exceeded our expectations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything off the top of my head.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d strongly encourage people to work with Peeklogic. Although they had challenging circumstances due to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, they delivered at an impressive level.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a project manager and scrum master at 340Basics Technology. I manage and own a lot of the changes that are requested through Salesforce.
What challenge were you trying to address with Peeklogic, LLC?
We hired them to help us with our Salesforce.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Depending upon our needs or changes we want through Salesforce, I make changes through Peeklogic, LLC, and do the review of what we’re looking for. If I don’t have a specific design, I tell them the requirements and they give me feedback on that.
When I know exactly what type of change we want, I put it together for them as part of a requirement and then turn it over to them.
What is the team composition?
We work with one senior Salesforce developer who handles most of the work. If there’s additional work, there’s another Salesforce developer who's available to take it on.
How did you come to work with Peeklogic, LLC?
Our company had already been working with Peeklogic, LLC. I started at the company in September 2019, so when I came on, they were already a partner.
What is the status of this engagement?
The engagement began about two years ago, and it’s ongoing. Any time I need something done, I reach out to them. We haven’t had any work for the past three weeks, but I will be reaching out to them next week with more work.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our team works in sprints or iterations using an agile method. A lot of the Salesforce changes, even though they aren’t directly tied to our product, influence our users. So, we request a timely turnaround depending on how large the change requests are.
If it’s a moderate change, Peeklogic, LLC usually completes it by the following day. Their deployment will usually take place two days after, and when I come in, the change is ready for production.
There haven’t been any changes that have gone beyond the 3-week mark. If the change is large, it might take them 3–4 days to complete the work. We have a good process in place that we established from the beginning, and it’s worked out well for us.
How did Peeklogic, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
I’m very happy with the turnaround time. I typically manage the priorities.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their response time is amazing compared to my experience with other Salesforce vendors or consultants in my history with other companies. There is no lag time. There was only one time where they told me they needed more time to do the work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I have no suggestions. In the beginning, we didn’t have a comprehensive process in place, so we did have a couple of hiccups. Once we defined and agreed on the process, everything went smoothly. We know exactly what’s expected and when the deployment will take place.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Define the process and work directly with the developer. Not having another layer in terms of a project manager has worked well for me because nothing gets lost in translation. Additionally, get feedback from the developer because a lot of times they know the application well.
They can give you feedback about how something could be done in a better way. The relationship should be a two-way street; don’t just tell them what you want and let that be the be all end all.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a Salesforce architect at ECM Solutions, a Salesforce consulting company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Peeklogic, LLC?
We needed additional resources for Salesforce consulting.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed Salesforce solutions, specifically, they created Sales Cloud and Service Cloud and Salesforce community-based applications. This included Lightning components and Apex classes, queries, custom community pages and solutions, and Vlocity components.
What is the team composition?
There are 2-3 people. They had a project manager that interacted with us.
How did you come to work with Peeklogic, LLC?
We started a small engagement where they just provided part-time service with one developer. We were pleased with the results and decided to scale it up.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $250,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in November 2017 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They developed high-quality code and paid attention to detail. In Salesforce consulting, 30% rework is normal. With Peeklogic, LLC, it was significantly less at around 15%.
How did Peeklogic, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication was done through a GitHub tracking system and through virtual meetings. There was ongoing communication throughout the project and constant feedback. They were particular and paid attention to detail.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their developers are very talented—they come up with good solutions for complicated problems. The quality of work is very high and better than average.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing that could be improved.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you’re prepared to work with a provider, Peeklogic, LLC is one of the best. We had a positive experience with them.

Salesforce Dev for Automative Services Company
"I come up with new things on a daily basis, and Peeklogic was the only company that agreed to work that way."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re an automotive services company comprised of 10 people, providing different services to dealers, retailers, and enthusiasts who purchase vehicles from auctions and need them to be worked on.
What challenge were you trying to address with Peeklogic, LLC?
We were testing out Salesforce for back-office and operations, and it seemed like a good tool for us. We were doing a lot manually, and that’s where the automation came in. Salesforce was really modifiable, and we could build any kind of business process into it.
So, we got involved with Sergii (CEO, Peeklogic) to help build the correct business processes within Salesforce.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve been able to build new Salesforce components and connect them. It’s an ongoing, unfinished process, and we’re with Peeklogic all the way.
In the beginning, I described the business processes we needed to Peeklogic (e.g. what kind of data we needed to be extracted from our vendors), and they came up with ideas. They suggested types of buttons, how we could automate certain functions, and what security features to have. I would approve the work, and then we’d go forward.
It wasn’t an official process where I’d present my requirements. I have a general idea about the topic, but I’m not a developer myself. Peeklogic allowed me to explain what I needed in my own words.
This is the reverse of what many providers are willing to do (e.g. other vendors want to see a request and send a proposal). Peeklogic shows me what they can do, I’ll approve, and they’ll move forward. They’ll finish a task and I’ll request something else. It’s been like this for the past three years.
What is the team composition?
I’ve been dealing with two people from their team, the owner and one of the managers. Those two would ask me specific questions and present their work. I believe they have other members working under them.
How did you come to work with Peeklogic, LLC?
I was a referral, followed by an in-person meeting with the owner. That helped a lot, since it’s hard to explain requirements through proposals and emails. I met them in person and explained who we worked, and he agreed.
It was actually in reverse, which a lot of providers didn’t want to do. They wanted to see my request, then they’d provide a proposal. This is why it took me a lot of time to find someone who was willing to work on my terms.
How much have you invested with them?
We’re getting close to $30,000. They bill us on a feature-by-feature basis.
What is the status of this engagement?
The initial contact was made in January of 2016, and we started working together in mid-February of that year. The partnership is ongoing, and we complete tasks on a feature-by-feature basis. There’s always something new, so it’ll never end.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve increased our volume of purchases. Peeklogic’s support has moved our workflow away from paper and spreadsheets, and it has stopped us from forgetting to add data.
Previously, I would need to spend an hour processing the inventory and paperwork for each vehicle. Now, it takes minutes.
For example, they created a back-office inventory system to manage the vehicle purchases we perform on behalf of clients. Each time we make a purchase, data is transferred at the click of a button from the vendor’s website to our Salesforce. (Prior to that, it was a copy-paste process, taking us 3–4 minutes to enter in one inventory item.)
Also, after purchases, there would be 15 pages to fill in manually. We’d write those up in Word or Excel, print them out, and present them to the client to sign. It used to take days to get the client into the office to sign the paperwork.
Now, none of that exists. PDFs that get sent automatically to the client through email, and they sign it with an application called HelloSign, which is integrated with Salesforce. It’s semi-instant.
How did Peeklogic, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re more on top of it than me. They’ll keep asking me for info. Then, when I have the time, I’ll punch in 20 different tasks, and they’ll have questions about each one. I like them because they’re on top of me, and they get in touch about tasks weekly. I can ask them a quick question on Skype, and they respond in minutes, if not seconds.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed by their non-traditional way of doing things. I requested multiple proposals, and every provider wanted all of the requirements at once.
I just didn’t have those. I come up with new things daily, and Peeklogic was the only company that agreed to work that way.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Since I’m not a developer, there’s nothing I would suggest. If I could have them in my office, that would be an improvement. Working remotely is a challenge, but it’s not any deficiency of theirs.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I’d recommend laying out all the requirements without exaggerating. If Peeklogic sees everything the client needs, especially if they have visuals or personal contact, the process will go smoother.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Surprise HR provides a comprehensive employee engagement and recognition platform leveraging behavioral economics research out of Stanford University to redefine how organizations approach employee relations. I oversee Surprise HR's Business Operations.
For what projects/services did your company hire Peeklogic, LLC?
When our in-house Salesforce Developer left the organization we struggled to staff a local resource to manage our Sales Cloud customization. We reached out to many developers and development firms, but most were unwilling to work on a maintenance and overhaul project. Peeklogic was able and willing to jump in and help out.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed to update our Salesforce implementation in a very short period of time (less than a month) to adapt to our new Sales Processes (moving from a semi-structured sales process to a multi-tiered, highly structured sales process). As with any reorg/restructure there are unforeseen hiccups – Peeklogic was able to adapt with us and work at our blistering pace.
How did you select this vendor?
Researched online contract platforms (e.g. Upwork) to find interested parties (20% success rate). Sent code test to assess abilities (25% pass rate). Put each qualified candidate/team through 2 week trial period of reduced hours (50% success rate). We are currently working with three vendors, each servicing a different wing of the organization: Marketing, Sales, Service – Peeklogic handles Sales, by far the more difficult to manage due to the quality of the code written before them.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Review existing apex classes, visualforce pages, workflows, and configurations. Offer suggestions for improving existing implementation. Review change requests for technical viability and implement them. Handle v1.1, v1.2, v2, v3 changes to requests in timely manner (often same-day). At a high level, we updated our sales process, nomenclature, kpis, and cadence. Peeklogic was responsible for coding the necessary updates to support these changes.
What was the team composition?
Team consisted of business stakeholder (Director of Sales), myself (as Technical Architect), QA Specialist (for testing functionality; though this role didn't come in until half-way through the process), and 2-3 Peeklogic resources.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
All Sales Reporting drives from the changes implemented by Peeklogic, from 1-1 meetings with Sales Reps all the way up to C-suite roundtables.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Project was spec'd in a semi-agile method w/ small deliverables scoped in Trello cards. Communication took place on Trello cards for easier relation to ongoing efforts. Trello board was broken into Backlog > Spec'd > On Deck > Active > Ready for Test > Business Review > Complete with Peeklogic responsible for moving cards from On Deck to Active to Ready for Test to Business Review as required.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Flexibility and willingness to get into it. Original contract was only for 20 hours per week - however certain weeks of the project required 40-60 hours of development time. They juggled their resources to accommodate our requirements.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Most areas of improvement are mutual. For example, we only recently moved to an enterprise development process (before relying on changesets). This caused some issue with code review and deployment cadence but was shared fault. However, where they could most improve is surfacing best practices and being more diligent in communicating necessary updates to stakeholders. There were a number of shortcomings in the code, from the prior developer, that Peeklogic would have been better off alerting us to upfront instead of commenting that "It works and we can work with it." As an analogy, our codebase was very much a dump truck when we needed a commuter vehicle. Peeklogic could have done better in the beginning of mentioning these observations.
This review was updated by the client on March 25, 2020. The original star ratings were: Overall - 4.5, Quality - 4, Schedule - 5, Cost - 5, NPS - 5. New content is below:
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Peeklogic, LLC?
We reengaged them to work on additional updates on our Salesforce implementation.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
A large piece of these updates included migrating data from several fields to others (as we removed extraneous customizations) across millions of records. These updates were multi-stage deployments and updates (add new fields, copy data, change references, deploy updates, re-sync data, remove old fields).
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
These updates are not easy to do, let alone do on a “live” installation without downtime. Peeklogic’s engineers were able to make these changes without any active users even noticing.

Please describe your company and your position there.
We provide Process Engineering and Development to clients across various industries. Our core technical services relate to CRM and mobile application development.
For what projects/services did your company hire Peeklogic, LLC?
We hired Peeklogic for a custom SF application development to link that platform with Google Drive. As our internal developers were engaged full time on client work, and wanting a cohesive team to handle the build, I reached out to Peeklogic. This has been a long-term project, with additional maintenance/enhancements as required.
What were your goals for this project?
A stand-alone application that could be used to link individual records in SF with a corresponding folder in Google Drive. This reduces the amount of storage used in SF and provides a backup/audit trail of all file movement.
How did you select this vendor?
Having worked with Sergii (Peeklogic's founder and CEO) on previous projects, I trusted his ability to understand the requirements and deliver on them. We discussed the project at length, and we made a plan for how we were going to approach the build, how long it would likely take, etc.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
The project is an application that connects Salesforce and Google Drive. As such, it required extensive Apex (SF) and Google Application development. Sergii and his team assisted with the initial architecture/design, and then completed the entirety of the actual build. We provided testing and feedback, and they made fixes/enhancements based on that.
What was the team composition?
Beyond the initial architectural phase (involving myself and my CTO), the team consisted of Sergii and two of his developers. Sergii acted as PM/Scrummaster, and the two developers shared responsibility for the majority of the actual coding.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
This is our first application on the AppExchange (SF's app store). It has proven our ability to plan and build large-scale custom applications intended for general use (instead of just specific clients).
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
It was a small team. I acted as primary stakeholder/sponsor, Sergii was the PM, and the two developers reported directly to him. Overall it was very effective.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
A number of things. They're extremely competent and quick to understand any needs/requests sent their way. They're proactive in soliciting feedback and quick to turn around any required changes. They're a pleasure to work with.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Honestly, no. I could struggle to come up with something, but it would be a platitude. I plan to continue working with them on enhancements to this App as well as future projects.

Peeklogic, LLC’s execution of a functional solution has tremendously improved the client’s customer service. They were a phenomenal partner to have, because they were competent, punctual, and personable. They work hard to absolutely ensure a timely delivery while writing consistently bug-free code.
