I am the founder of CarpeDM Adventures. We have been in business for the last 15 years in Quito, Ecuador.

For what projects/services did your company hire Pedro Pixel?

Our business was established 15 years ago. For the most part I would be the one involved in the design/maintenance of the website. We were looking for a fresh design, new look and feel, compatible for mobile, desktop and tablet. Most importantly we wanted to be able to make updates in the backend pretty easily.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Selection process was complicated, as I needed a website design that would would be SEO friendly, didn't require too much micro-management, and provided easy way to scale when needed.

During the initial we discussed branding and goals for the website. They provided some mock-ups with the new design. We selected the one most relevant to our business / branding and then it was off to work.

I worked directly with the owner Pedro from concept to completion.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design was complete, we are already receiving requests through the chat channel they set up, emails, and WhatsApp.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Pedro made it extremely easy to exchange ideas and ways to improve the website's functionality. He was available 7 days a week, and always responded at a moment's notice. Even though I didn't expect this type of availability on his side, it did demonstrate his commitment to deliver a quality product.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It's just not a design company that delivers you a product based on the initial proposal. It's truly a collaboration, and even though they have more prominent clients, they make you feel like your project is their priority and will do what it takes to meet your needs and, in many ways, exceed them. Even though I would never have budgeted this amount of money for this type of project, it was worth every last penny. It was the greatest investment I made in my business in a long time. They over-delivered. We would highly recommend them to anyone interested in building a web presence.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I was impressed all around. I'm a solo entrepreneur and juggling many things simultaneously. I had to meet specific deadlines to keep the momentum going, yet they kept moving forward even though I was late in providing the necessary information.
