We hired PaperBox to firstly solve a google ads issue we were experiencing with our conversions. We had PB do a complete audit of our google ads in order to get to the root problem and bring us solutions. 

After the google ads campaigns were running smoothly and collecting data, we turned to content creation for our website in the form of a blog, including topics, keywording and seo-optimization suggestions. This work is still ongoing, but we have already seen great improvements from an SEO standpoint on our site.

The whole PaperBox team has been excellent in communication (so important!), understanding our specific needs and suggesting long term solutions for us. We have already seen progress in our site conversions, and they are getting better each month. 

While the bulk of what we sought out to achieve with PB has been completed, we are continuing to work with PB to ensure that all continues to run smoothly, bounce ideas off them and have them lead SEO related projects, like keywording blog posts and updates to our google ads management.

Paper Box SEO has a very dedicated and engaged team! We were assigned an account manager from the very first call, who is still with us today. Having that main point person has been crucial we believe, to our success in working with PB. They are our point person for any questions and connect us to other PB team members, like google ads specialists and seo specialists, when needed. 

They do a good job on deliverables timelines and are very responsive on email. They are also always available for a check-in meeting, which is appreciated.

the only call out would be sometimes there can be a lot of cooks in the kitchen, and things can get lost, overlooked or miscommunicated. this may be an issue at any SEO company because there are many parts to seo, each with their own specialists. sending a meeting minutes overview email to your client I believe would be a great SOP to implement. 

I know it can be timely and feels like you are over communicting, but it allows for all parties involved to read through that overview and ensure all are aligned and also gives another opportunity to ask questions, clarify or add another thought that was not discussed at that last meeting.

Paper Box SEO was tasked with first reviewing our entire website and making structural improvements. This task started with the correcting of many SEO technical issues found throughout our site. A thorough discovery meeting led by the PaperBox Seo team was held, and a strategy was agreed to. 

This discovery meeting included learning about AGC, content strategy, content creation, keyword research, Google Business account setup, optimization and management, competitor research, a technical SEO Audit, and a link-building campaign. A detailed schedule of deliverables and an action plan were provided with goals for each month.

The project management has been excellent. From the start of the project, we were provided monthly goals with specific tasks for each month. Each month a review meeting is held to discuss the progress. Sometimes, we have made requests outside of our agreed tasks for the month, and PaperBox Seo has been willing to address these requests at the appropriate time. Our needs are always addressed appropriately.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

AGC Education knew nothing about SEO or optimization of our website. We were pleasantly surprised that the team at PaperBox SEO was willing to take the time and educate us. They took the time to "dummy down" the explanation of complicated terms, such as the difference between Impressions and clicks. They made sure we understood each section before moving to the next. 

From our experience, companies with very technical tasks do not want to take the time to explain the process. This leaves the customer paying for a service or task they do not understand. PaperBox SEO's team clarifies and confirms we understand when we ask for clarity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Paper Box SEO could have done differently?

In the beginning, there were what I will describe as growing pains. We did not understand the amount of work required to fix our website before the SEO work could be started. Therefore our expectations out of the gate were not realistic. 

If there could have been a more detailed explanation of the work required to get us to the starting line, this would have eliminated our unrealistic expectations. Again, once PaperBox SEO understood our knowledge level (below basic), they provided greater detail and explanation.

Very disappointed. I signed with them 6 months ago and paid over 8k. Paper Box SEO agreed they would help covert 15 sales organically by the 6 month and they failed to deliver at 6 months they said on average they were converting 2 sales. As a small business, I was already struggling to grow and they assured me that would help. Now I have to seek legal advice in getting back my money.

The owner (Russell) said he sold the company and never once was I informed of this. Please see the images. I don’t wish the stress upon this to anyone else. I feel taken advantaged of. I asked for a refund and as of now they have not given me my money back or kept their initial agreement. If anyone is looking to hire them and has questions please feel free to contact me. I have every email saved, the team did have great communication but the “owners” mislead me.

We appreciate the feedback. We did fall short of the 6-month goal we set for you. We are now setting less aggressive goals to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

When you brought up your concerns to us, I encouraged you several times to schedule a meeting to discuss. You wouldn’t meet with us and instead threatened legal action. 

We provided a month of service for free and offered more free months, but you still refused to meet and continued to threaten legal action. 

Despite falling short of the goal, the rankings improvements you got were well above average. Your site was not ranking at all prior to starting with us. You're now showing up at the bottom of the first page of Google for many of your top target keywords. 

Our offer still stands to work for free to push your rankings further up the first page, where you’ll get enough organic conversions to meet the goal. We encourage you to schedule a meeting so we can push you past the finish line.

What impressed me most was that the content was accurate and well-written. As lawyers, we have to provide accurate information that is clearly written. Paper Box SEO managed to give us just that. I had to do minimal editing and fact-checking for the pages and have commissioned further writing based on the results.

Received a noticeable increase in links, traffic and more importantly, leads. The only reason I stopped was for a huge internal budget issue (my issue, not with their cost) and I had to pause. I'll be starting up again as soon as it makes sense for me financially.

Super easy. I was hardly asked for anything in terms of support but when I did need to do something, the instructions were clear and I was able to knock out what they needed from me immediately.
