Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Two main goals they met were ensuring the software showed ADA compliance and displaying nomination submissions. Another metric was being accessible for the project, which they succeeded in being.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Their project management approach and communication were extremely good. If there were any potential or real delays, they let me know in advance instead of waiting until the last minute. They set the proper expectations as far as possible pain points. If we reached those points, we were able to communicate effectively in order to make sure the delivery date didn’t get delayed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their level of communication was what really made them stand out from others.

There’s nothing they could have done differently or better. Everything went very smoothly.

What were your goals for this project?

Our first goal was to build a mobile app. We have a rewards program called Club 65. Our club members receive a $25 gift card for our store in the mail, but most people forget them and put them aside. So, we wanted to build an app for them, which tracks all of their sales, their purchases and has gift cards appear on their phone.

We looked at our clientele, and about 80 percent of our club members have iPhones, so we started with an iPhone app. It’s really brought in a lot more money because people are finding cards from three years ago on their phone. The other goal is it tracks everything you buy.

We also created an online marketplace that gives suggestions and reviews like Amazon. Users can search for wine, beer, spirits; whatever products we carry that are similar. We also like that users can use the app at the register, and it’s easier than remembering a gift card or having to find it at home.

I looked for clutch reviews of customers. I reviewed their portfolio and liked the samples of sites that I saw. I contacted them in person and felt comfortable working with them based on my project scope and their pricing.

They developed the iPhone app and will do an Android app later.They have developed a website for us that met every standard and customized many aspects of it. They have provided us with social media posts, analytics, traffic to the site as well as SEOs, PPC and Paid ads on Google and Facebook.

We’ve worked with a team of about six different people on our various extensions. Those team members include project managers, designers and developers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Customers who use the app spend more money at the store than before, through rewards points and recommendations. Our Business boosted 160% in the first month of launch.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

project management was very impressive. We had weekly call and daily emails and all was very efficient. All our concerns were heard and resolved right away.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their speed, responsiveness, and innovation are unique. They’re very receptive to our needs. That was really important because I’m not a technical person. I can run the mobile app and the website, and they made it very user friendly.

Everything they do, you’re with them every step of the way. They are probably about the best vendor that I’ve had the opportunity to work within this space.

Our communication was strictly through email. There were times where we had to communicate via video message, but it didn't affect the outcome of our project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Overall, the impact was great. Palmspire quoted the ballpark hours and were really flexible while working through the transition. 

How was project management arranged and how effective was it? 

We used Slack to post all of our requirements, flag problems, and discuss options. We also used a Trello board to manage tasks and status. 

What did you find most impressive about this company? 

I was impressed by how responsive they were to fixing problems—even when there were bugs in their code. 

Are there any areas for improvement? 

A few of the templates had problems and functionality issues that affected roll-out. I had to push hard for them to fix the bugs in the template code, some of which incurred a cost on our end.
