Our Scope of Work included the reclamation of backlinks after our full rebrand and domain change, new backlink acquisition through content promotion, and the execution of a proprietary survey and digital PR piece that was pitched as a long-term backlink acquisition play. The agreed-upon backlinks were all delivered, the research article is continuing to perform, and our brand mentions and visibility are seeing deeper market penetration.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our key outcomes for the project where based on the number of quality backlinks acquired, the delivery of a quality research article and proprietary survey data, and the pitching of said article to relevant media contacts. All of our agreed-upon deliverables were met, and we're continuing to monitor the outcomes of our partnership with favorability. This partnership, combined with our internal efforts, has contributed to significant increases to organic traffic and conversions, with an overall increase of 108% in conversions YOY for 2025.

Page One Power offers a unique suite of support that met us where we had the biggest need after rebranding. Rebranding is always a challenge, and while we had internal support, there were a few key areas where we needed outside expertise, especially with regard to link building, brand mentions, and link equity recovery.

Overall, P1P was helpful, flexible, and responsive to our needs.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Wanted a vendor that would add value to the internet with interesting and thoughtful content that people would actually read- and get people to link to us. They customized details specific to our campaign and spent a lot of time working with us to make sure things would run smoothly even before we paid them. Bob was super attentive and responsive while getting things moving.

They wrote several onsite pieces of content and resource guides (around disability that was of interest to us) as well as fun blog articles that they felt other sites would link to. They then went to other sites and acquired and wrote on these other sites to link back to our site. Everything was planned to flow up to and link to our priority pages. Sites were relevant and high quality. Measured Domain au thority, page authority, gnatt chart/timeline, links to placements etc. Also measured keyword rankings

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We had two main focuses/topics of high value to the business. At the end of the campaign, they rose to the bottom of the first/top of the second page which was amazing. Domain Authority for linking domains was around a 40 and could increase. Got more links then they estimated.

Super responsive with questions. Had calls as much as we needed with basically weekly check-ins. Everything was super organized to track links, timelines, rankings and expectations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Super proactive and cares about us. Bob found some instances of other websites taking our content (from our blog) and spinning it on their websites. That wasn't part of what they were going to do for us- but it was actionable intel I could take to our compliance team. The way they go about link building is top-class and adds real value to the internet. I receive daily emails from companies about building links and it is spammy and low quality. P1P process is white hat, adds value to the internet/users, and to our company. They're the best link-building company I've worked with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm not sure- just really good. Maybe unfair to say because they focus on link-building- but it would be interesting if they offered full service agency suite (creatives etc)

After our initial kick-off meeting we were presented with a detailed proposal and SOW. Once the proposal and SOW were reviewed and approved, a workflow and content schedule was developed. In addition, strategic goals were established, along with tracking to monitor campaign results. Weekly meetings were scheduled to discuss progress, review timelines, and make adjustments (if needed).

Our primary, direct contact was Colby (Lead Project Manager). However, there were many others (writers, editors, and project coordinators) who also contributed to the success of the project.

The blog and backlink strategy helped increase organic traffic to our sites and improved our overall brand authority within several home service categories. Our internal clients and external customers found the content to be helpful and informative (as indicated by internal feedback and search data). The content was thoroughly researched and well written

We would meet weekly to review the content schedule, discuss feedback and strategize future content topics. Meeting were informative and productive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was obvious that the writers researched each topic thoroughly and crafted well-written informative articles. Their focus was on the quality of the content and not on meeting a specific word count.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It's difficult to judge the success of this type of campaign over a short period because it often takes considerable time to build brand authority, backlinks, and awareness. If there is one suggestion, it would be to provide more detailed data related to the organic traffic lift generated by the campaign.

So far, we’ve seen double-digit and triple-digit increases in engagement with the content we’ve developed, helping our marketing efforts and achieving an overall 30% increase in our site’s traffic.

How did Page One Power perform from a project management standpoint?

From the start, Page One Power has been very professional in the setup and understanding of our needs. Their team is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Additionally, they’re very transparent about how they perform their outreach, which is very important and not often seen in the SEO space.

Throughout our engagement, Page One Power has also provided extensive monthly reporting to follow up on the progress, and I can even get daily report details if required. Overall, their service is top-notch.

We use Google Docs to manage the project. Initially, we primarily communicated via phone calls and emails. As the project has progressed, we’ve also established regular meetings with them on a monthly or bimonthly basis.

The quality of Page One Power’s outreach is impressive. The selection of the influencers they choose to reach out to has always been of high quality, which I really like.

It would be great if Page One Power improved the tools they use for reporting. I’ve worked with other companies that use dashboards and project management tools, but Page One Power only uses Google Docs.

I met with P1P and talked through my goals and ideas and they put together a formal statement of work. They provided a ton of research on competitors, keywords, and content strategy. Once we had that approved we moved to creating a list of keywords we wanted to rank for, article ideas, and linkable content pieces.

After that they created outlines of every piece of content that were reviewed and approved by my team. Then they went to work creating the finished pieces. I post the content on my end, and they track the links indexing and SEO keyword ranking.

Each time a link is published, the vendor includes its count in the reporting dashboard we share.

We meet virtually on a bi-weekly basis to discuss updates, blockers, and other needs. The vendor also keeps an up-to-date dashboard so we can see the progress of each campaign, and our point of contact always responds quickly whenever I have any questions

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Many vendors in this industry tend to be better at the sales element than the delivery. With Page One Power, I've really appreciated how transparent they are throughout the process. They don't overpromise, and instead conduct research before engagement so they can give us a realistic view of the opportunity and associate cost.

This is really helpful to me as a manager, because it allows me to forecast with much more accuracy. The team is great about communicating throughout the process and proposing pivots as needed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would like the overall percentage of rejected prospecting sites to go down. Right now, it's at a manageable level, but some additional quality control before sending could help improve that percentage overall. That said, we reject a lower percentage from this vendor than from most of our other vendors because the quality is usually very high
