The goal was to build the service that is able to register the works on the blockchain and the website that enables user registration & management, Credit purchase and checkout and registering copyright transactions on the blockchain.

OSDB were very professional from the beginning and had good reviews and track record. They provided a Fullstack solution under one roof with talented designers, architects developers and project management. We were also able to define significant milestones within my budget..

After kicking off the team created high quality mocks to understand general design direction, UI requirements and feature requirements. After agreeing on the directions we want to take, the team created a functioning prototype which really enabled us to get a feel for the final product, make critical decisions and finalize the expected user journey. Afterwards the team began working on the backend and design according to my preference using Java and NodeJS for the blockchain service.

Oleksii managed the work with the dev team and we had weekly calls to assess progress and make decisions. Also had several calls with the talented Ekaterina on the design and UI until everything was perfect.

The website has launched and we're beginning campaigning and collaborations to build a user base.

We mainly used Slack for communication and idea sharing. Trello was used to manage the features and backlog with he dev team.

They really care about the project and will do everything they can to see it through successfully. There were unexpected issues and business limitations with the original blockchain that was chosen for the project and Oleksii and the team helped investigate additional blockchains and technologies and joined calls with teams all around the world until we found the ideal solution.

The Clue service has focused on the mobile application for the field workers and managers to access the data on the job site. as the company grows and expands our customer base to the large corporation, our customer requested web application for the back-office managers. considering the size of the in-house development talents, we did not have luxury to develop both mobile app and web application at the same time.

We posted partnership opportunitiese online and many solution companies approached us. OSDB was one of the candidate. the main reason I decided to work with OSDB team was 1) professional approach on the proposal and, of course, competitive estimate in terms of cost and the timeline.

I have developed most of the features for the mobile app. the scope of the project was to develop most of the functionality with a web application with react JS. I provided the design and the technical spec, and the OSDB team came up with the estimate for each phase and led the development, and then my QA team ran the test to confirm the final deliverable.

2 senior developers and 1 exec-level manager to coordinate the process.

one of the key requirements for the OSDB team was to develop everything modular so that we can re-use all the elements for future development and the OSDB team met the requirement more than perfect!

the developers assigned to our project have ownership. They proactively suggested improvements and alternatives when we found any issues on the project.

The scope of our project was a single page web application using react js hosted on Firebase.

We just really enjoy working with OSDB, their technical skills are backed by good project management, a friendly approach and excellent value for money.

OSDB use the agile method of project management with either Jira or Trello. Communication is done via slack, we initially requested Teams and they supported that too.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Access to the team has built as we have built trust. There are no barriers to communication which is the single most important thing in project delivery.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Technical output is strong, the style of the user interface has required rework on a number of occasion but that has not been the primary focus of the project to date.

The system has to be fast, responsive, accurate, intuitive and error-free. Our users are tech savvy and they expect to use this system as an extension of themselves. Allowing for easy management and clear flow is a must.

Our internal users are using the system on a daily basis. Our customers are very taken aback with how professional it looks, and how slick the user experience is.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Communication was mostly done via Slack. At the beginning we had a daily video call to synchronize. We used Asana for task management and review.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

OSDB were great from the start. They had good communication skills, creative problem solving, a can-do approach to difficult tasks. Our project was supposed to be a few weeks long, but we continued working together for almost an entire year. Highly recommended.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Very little. Work on a part-time basis is not encouraged. We were told their developers are working full time only.

Also, they provide technical expertise in terms of technology upgrades, estimations, approaches and etc. We are mostly working with React.js, Angular and Java developers from the OSDB team.

We have worked with 3 backend Java developers for 1 long-term project. The second project involved both frontend and backend developers - 2 in total.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The developers from OSDB are of top-notch skills and the code is very good. I am very satisfied with the collaboration with OSDB company.

We used Jira and Trello for tasks tracking and Slack/Skype for communication. Communication was always smooth and quick and tasks were being tracked on a daily basis. Hence, management was doing a great job on their side.

They are open to finding new ways to be valuable. The quality of technical employees is extremely high in terms of both soft and hard skills. OSDB is a great technical partner. They are open, reliable and technically savvy.

Since bringing OSDB into our team, we have released one product and several versions of another. We can finally plan ahead, as our list of outstanding tasks is now far more manageable.
