I’m an administrator at Nippon Center Pakistan. We train individuals for Japanese proficiency.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Oriental Nippon Development to accomplish for Nippon Center Pakistan?

We hired Oriental Nippon Development for the development of an in-house learning management system (LMS) that could be used for teaching and preparing students for languages like Japanese, making them suited to the Japanese market and easier for them to travel abroad.

SOLUTION

Can you describe the scope of work Oriental Nippon Development handled for your education and training project?

Oriental Nippon Development has developed a custom LMS from scratch based on our requirements. Initial deliverables included a working MVP with basic self-taught courses. In later deliverables (not all listed), the team has delivered a meeting module for online and live classes, gamified self-learning functionality for students to make learning interactive and fun, and a course creation and review studio to allow teachers to build courses on the platform and allow reviewers to review the content. The project is still under development, so Oriental Nippon Development will deliver more features. The team has handled all aspects of the project, including UI/UX design, backend development, and integrations.

How did you come to work with Oriental Nippon Development?

We found Oriental Nippon Development through an online search and a referral. We chose them because their pricing fit our budget, they offered good value for the cost, and they were referred to me.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Oriental Nippon Development in May 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been able to onboard students on the platform and facilitate their learning through the platform's self-learning functionality and in-house online classes. Instead of using tools like Google Meet for classes, we’ve been able to move students to our own platform, enabling us to custom teach lessons with enriched meeting functionality like live activities and scoring, which has really improved students' overall engagement and their test scores.Students who used to slack off in the older classes (Google Meet) are now taking more interest due to the live activities in classes. I would personally say there's a solid 50% improvement in student engagement and interest. In terms of test scores, there's a 30% improvement on average.

How did Oriental Nippon Development perform from a project management standpoint?

Oriental Nippon Development has delivered on time for the most part. We communicate through virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

Oriental Nippon Development is honest and true to their commitments if no unforeseen circumstances arise. For a company with a budget on the lower side, they’re good.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, our communication gets a bit delayed. It hasn’t had a huge impact on the project or our business, but they can work on improving that.
