Their project management was one of the standout aspects of the engagement. From kickoff, they established a clear roadmap with defined milestones, owners, and timelines. Yes items were delivered on time and often ahead of schedule. When adjustments were needed, they communicated proactively rather than reactively, which made a big difference.

A lot of agencies talk about being “data-driven,” but they went beyond surface-level metrics. They paired quantitative insights (conversion data, funnel analysis, heatmaps, testing velocity) with qualitative research (customer feedback, session recordings, buyer psychology) to uncover why customers were behaving a certain way, not just what was happening.

Another unique strength was how embedded they became in our business. They didn’t operate like an external vendor checking boxes. They understood our margins, traffic mix, growth goals, and constraints and built strategies that made sense for our stage and scale. That level of ownership and commercial alignment is rare.

Finally, their discipline around testing and prioritization was impressive. Every experiment had a clear hypothesis, projected impact, and post-launch analysis. It created a culture of learning and continuous improvement rather than random optimization.

Are there any areas for improvement or something ONTRACK DIGITAL could have done differently?

Overall, the experience was very strong, but like any high-performing partner, there are always small areas where things could evolve.

At times, because they move quickly and operate with a structured testing cadence, it would have been helpful to have even more executive-level summaries alongside the detailed reporting. Their analysis is thorough, but a tighter top-line “here’s what this means for the business” recap for stakeholders would make internal communication even easier.

Additionally, as momentum builds and wins stack up, proactively surfacing a longer-term strategic roadmap (beyond the immediate testing cycles) could help align expectations around 6–12 month growth opportunities.

That said, these are refinements rather than shortcomings. The core execution, responsiveness, and results were strong and they consistently showed a willingness to adapt based on feedback.

I’m the operations director for Lucie Kaas, an interior design company. We sell primarily small home accessories through retailers.

What challenge were you trying to address with ONTRACK DIGITAL?

When we started two years ago, e-commerce was only about 5% of or business. We wanted it to be a new part of our business, but we didn’t have the resources in terms of time, knowledge, and skills. We needed an agency to build our e-commerce site and grow our conversion rate optimization.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ONTRACK DIGITAL provided conversion rate optimization services. We told them our challenges, and they audited our e-commerce site. They found many issues we had to approve, which took approximately three weeks. From there, ONTRACK DIGITAL tried a few experiments and let them run between 2–3 weeks with AB testing. We then implemented some of the things, and it took about 3–4 months to continue developing the site.

Initially, we provided them access to all of our data, including historical data about our customer service, emails, and more. They used Hotjar and Google Analytics to track the site and Google Optimize to do APIs. Additionally, ONTRACK DIGITIAL helped us implement some of the features.

We worked with three teammates: Andra (Founder), an e-commerce specialist, and a developer. Andra was our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with ONTRACK DIGITAL?

I found them through an event where they were a partner. Since we receive money from the Danish government, there was a database of agencies we could work with. ONTRACK DIGITAL specialized in conversion rate optimization and went to the point, while other agencies wanted to do other stuff and put a lot of time into the initial phase.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our conversion rate grew by about 20% in that period. Moreover, the number of total orders improved by 114%, so we doubled our revenue when we worked with ONTRACK DIGITAL.

We primarily communicated through Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When we asked for something, they were great at implementing it quickly. The communication when we wrote to them was excellent. The team would get back to us quickly, which was helpful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

In the beginning, the communication was clear, and we understood what had to be done. However, when they started running the AB tests, we didn’t get a response. We had to reach out to them and ask how everything was going rather than having ONTRACK DIGITAL set a weekly meeting or being proactive.

Additionally, they should’ve had clearer KPIs. Even though the conversion rate improved, we weren’t sure which things did it because they weren’t tracking the differences. We couldn’t point out what helped us, so we didn’t know how much credit went to them. In summary, they lacked transparency, and we couldn’t continue our engagement because we had no data other than the general improvements.

Be clear on what you want and avoid having a broad scope. Use ONTRACK DIGITAL for specific tasks; they’re excellent with things planned out.

There were initial presentations of ONTRACK's evaluation of our webshop, then we discussed our larger goals and objectives. We would decide on a few points to prioritise and focus on during the coming week and continued to have weekly catch-up meetings to touch base. During these meetings, ONTRACK would provide wireframes of proposed features and also data on A/B tests that were set up previously. They used software to prove whether features would be beneficial or not. Their expertise with Shopify was a great advantage to us.

Our conversion rate has increased 30% overall in the year following our initial project and we've received nothing but postive feedback on the thumbnail header that was added to our mobile-design.
