What challenge were you trying to address with Online Marketing Help?

They took over all of my marketing. Essentially, we previously used word-of-mouth exclusively to attract clients. We decided we needed a website to get customers through the door, rather than just customers we already knew or friends of other customers. They came in for our full website and some paid advertising.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They set our expectations, working with us to understand what to expect from creating a website and paid advertising. After a couple of months, they built the website on WordPress and handled the design of the website. They also handled online advertising from Google and Bing.

What is the team composition?

We spoke to numerous people, but mostly Sarah (Digital Marketing Specialist).

How did you come to work with Online Marketing Help?

We approached numerous companies because we didn’t really know what we wanted, besides we wanted people to come to find us. Online Marketing Help was really good at explaining what we needed and the timeframe it takes to get people to come in from it, so we went with them. I think we found them through Google at the beginning.

How much have you invested with them?

The website was completed in six months, and we paid $350 a month for that. Since then, we’ve been paying that rate at a 10% discount.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in August 2020. We’re still working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We didn’t have a website before, and now we’ve had numerous clients come in through the website. Seven, to be exact. There’s more organic profit, and we’re optimistic that more people will come in from the website and we’ll garner even more customers. We’re incredibly happy with what’s been delivered.

How did Online Marketing Help perform from a project management standpoint?

They asked us to find websites we liked, and we went back to them with them. Then we discussed functionality, and they worked with us and provided examples. They went above and beyond to provide options and communicate them to us. They’re incredibly communicative in their reports. They’re also very patient.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They really look out for us and our business. They continue giving us the best price and finding the best ways for us to spend our money. I really feel that they look out for us and our business to makes sure we’re doing the best that we can do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. My experience with them has been fantastic. I’m so happy with them. They’re responsive and an excellent value for the money.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be honest with what you want and how much you want to work. Give them honest feedback.

What challenge were you trying to address with Online Marketing Help?

We needed help with our SEO, web development, and marketing. We had lots of problems.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started off with an initial consultation to discuss what I wanted. Once we had a better idea, Online Marketing Help went away and came up with a project plan and pricing. After they came back with that, in the first instance, I gave them some feedback and then initially signed it off.

Soon thereafter, about a week or two later, they came back with a design. We finished the website and then spoke about their SEO packages. They’ve been handling our SEO and marketing, including social media marketing for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

The website was created on WordPress. We wanted a simple website, and the key feature is the ease of use; they’re also building some other features for me. The future features will have an e-commerce function that allows people to buy things off the website. Also, there’s a calculator tool that I wanted to include. As an accounting firm, we wanted to be able to total people’s taxes; Online Marketing Help is working on this tool now.

What is the team composition?

I have an account manager who handles relations initially. They take care of the day-to-day bits, but on occasion, I speak to the technical team and ask more tricky questions in terms of how I wanted the website to work.

How did you come to work with Online Marketing Help?

I found them on Google. We had contacted three or four companies, and Online Marketing Help was really easy to speak to. Essentially, I let them know we needed a new website and what we were looking for. They weren’t pushy and were really relaxed. Their team told us how they could help and there wasn’t a tacky sales approach. The pricing was a little more, but it felt right so I went with them.

How much have you invested in them?

So far, we’ve spent about £10,000 (approximately $13,000 USD) and that also includes future features although they’re not finished yet.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in February 2020. I had been speaking to them since last November, but we didn’t start until three months ago.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They are really professional, friendly, and easy. I was a bit worried about starting this project, but it has been fantastic. I’ll send them an email, and they quickly send one right back. I don’t have a background in anything to do with websites, so they took the reins, which was really good.

They’ve also gone the extra mile to send over a few training videos, which have been very helpful. These explainer videos show us how to do basic backend tasks for the website. For example, I needed to update some text the other day, and their team did it for me. Within half an hour, they sent us a guided video that was so beneficial because now I know how to do it myself.

How did Online Marketing Help perform from a project management standpoint?

Their customer service is brilliant and response time has been second to none. I get a response within five minutes, which is really good because as a small business I just want to know the answer. When we went through the website design, everything was digital and visual, and we did a call on the computer which was really helpful.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m just blown away, which is why I’m leaving this review as I don’t normally do this.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there are no areas for improvement. They’re brilliant.
