What were your goals for this project?

At the time we began working with Onely, our site was heavily penalized by google. We were invisible online for approximately 4 years and merely wanted to free ourselves from the penalties.

Over the period of 2012- 2016, we received fewer than 900 visitors from Search. We had worked with countless companies trying to free ourselves from the google penalty. They were recommended by a content marketing company. Honestly, I didn't have any expectation that we'd see any different results than others attempted. Just kinda resigned to the idea that Google was going to not be part of our strategy going forward.

We designed a whole new website with new internal linking structure, analyzed our existing linking profile from top to bottom (over 3 million links) created a massive disavow file. Began to create high quality, relevant content (both on and off-site). They took over the entire SEO Effort.

Bartosz, Lukas and Kamila have been spearheading our effort. I honestly feel like they saw my site as a challenge to themselves. They knew their strategy would be successful, if only I were willing to trust them.

Yes! We have gone from non-existent in Google Search to top 3 most visible websites in BizAv (for our niche)

Excellent - They have been methodical and detailed. Their recommendations are well detailed so that our Dev team can implement them without much (if any) back and forth.

Their investment in Stratos success. I don't feel like they are a third-party service provider. I feel that they are an internal part of our team.

We have been running in house technical SEO using popular market tools to crawl and provide recommendations on the issues we had. It came to the stage where we felt our platform could be achieving greater visibility and wanted to get a second opinion on the structure and current state of Google’s crawling and rendering of the website.

I found their company through following talks at conferences and their YouTube channel.

The experiments and investigations into how big brands using well-known SEO agencies we’re getting fundamental technical SEO wrong put them at the forefront of our list of vendors to speak to.

I spoke on a Google hangout with their owner about our concerns and we progressed from there.

Following a face to face Google hangout, I was introduced to the project manager and staff that were assigned to my project.

We provided a list of all the work we had done for them to review, this was in document form as well as using a loom video to talk through the areas of the site we had been working on, highlighting concerns.

By doing this, it enabled us to work in synergy, so Onely could accurately focus on the important deliverables for the project without wasting resource on ground that had already been covered.

What was the team composition?

The project began with speaking to their owner, Bartosz, on a Google hangout. During this call, we outlined our core concerns and he was able to assign the right team and project manager to handle our specific needs. Our project manager, Maria, assigned a team to work on the project and access was granted to all areas of the site required. From the initial call, their team was active on the project within 24hrs.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within a week the in-depth technical audit was returned to me via Google sheets, enabling us to proactively communicate of areas of the report and get any feedback we required.

The actions we clearly described with screenshots, reference photos and URLs so we could input the plan with ease into our internal project management software.

We have been working through the tasks, their team has been quick to provide in-depth responses and add additional insight to anything new that has arisen.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

As mentioned, the use of Google docs, photos, screen recordings and Google hangouts and other proactive workflows has enabled both our teams to work very effectively. Communication has been excellent and delivery was much faster than we hoped for.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed with the level of knowledge within their team. It’s rare to find a group of employees with such specialist knowledge, they uncovered much more than we expected and for that we’re extremely thankful.

There’s not really anything I can fault here, it was all pretty seamless and a much better experience than most agencies we’ve worked with.

It was our second cooperation with Onely. The first one was focused on reversing the downward trend we had after some "bad SEO behaviors and practices". It was successful - that's why we decided to try one more technical audit in more complexed and demanding conditions. In the beginning, we delivered a lot of data about our company and SEO implementation we were previously doing. Onely wanted to have deep understanding of how our e-commerce works, also from the backend site. We decided what are our weak areas, internal blockers, and business opportunities.

Based on that Onely developed roadmap with segmented areas to improve. It was based on our website structure and month by month we were developing new SEO solutions for one part of our site. This way we saw effects more quickly than with overall website audit.

We used Trello and email as our communication channels. The two specialists from Onely actively participated in the planning process and provided a to-do list in Trello.

They sometimes replied a bit late, but, on average, they answered within two days max. They offered really good explanations.
