I’m the lead pasta pusher at 3 Farm Daughters, a women-owned food company producing better-for-you, high-fiber pasta made with just two simple ingredients and grown on our family farm.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Omnitail?

We needed help bringing additional qualified traffic to our site. Our goal was to optimize our ads for conversion and ensure our e-commerce connection with Shopify was well established so that we could leverage Google to drive higher engagement. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Omnitail managed our Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns. The team was responsible for developing, planning, and executing our ad strategy to drive additional value and traffic to our brand. Omnitail also managed our Google Merchant Center.

We worked with two teammates from Omnitail, Rachel and Tyler

Omnitail was working with our brand since March 2024, and our team was managing our Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns previously.

What is the status of this engagement?

 We worked together from March 2024–August 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We gained a much better handle on our advertising strategy. Omnitail helped push Google Ads paid traffic to be one of the top five contributors to our Shopify store. The team ensured that our products were regularly seen and that our Shopping and Search campaigns were adapted as needed. We implemented an omnichannel ad strategy to start aligning traffic patterns and insights into how our traffic was coming into our site. We leveraged Google Ads more frequently to drive and test how we got new eyes on our site. Our non-branded or categorical traffic increased, driving net new buyers to our site.

How did Omnitail perform from a project management standpoint?

Omnitail was willing to adapt as we made changes. The team was pleasant to work with. We communicated via email and monthly calls with reporting in Google Sheets.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When challenged to collaborate, Omnitail brought ideas to the table. I appreciated being able to lean on their expertise, ask questions, and aim for new outcomes.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We tended to talk to them once a month on average, and while they were willing to engage ad hoc at times, I think we could have benefited from more frequent engagement. The Google Sheets reporting was extremely detailed and at times we felt lost in the amount of data. Since the Google Ads setup was complex, an executive overview tailored to KPIs we could align on would have been helpful.

They delivered in all the ways they could, but we had many setbacks with popular products that we were promoting heavily being no longer available at no fault of Omnitail's. Overall, we did not feel Omnitail was a good fit for where our business is currently.

We are far from being where we want to be but all I wanted was a partner that was focused on getting us down the track in a way that I could trust that they would get us to the finish line. I feel like we are still just starting out the race but I finally have a race car that can run and feel confident we will will this race!

The main thing for us is to work with people you get along. Digital marketing agencies are everywhere and most of them do a good job but finding people who you can trust and talk without reservations is more valuable than bells and whistles.
