We wanted our website rebuilt to have better rankings on Google so that we could generate more leads. We also wanted to implement SEO strategies and Google Ads to funnel those leads into conversions and, consequently, have more gross revenue.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since we started working together, Ohana has refreshed our website, implementing some SEO tactics. They’ve also created Google Ads, which are getting very positive results.

We kept most of our former website’s content, but Ohana helped rearrange it to make it more user-friendly and attractive for potential customers. Currently, they’re still revising some of the content to keep improving our rank on Google. It’s an ongoing process.

Although it has been a very short period since we started these efforts, we’ve already increased the number of leads for January 2022 by 2.5X compared to November 2021. We compared it that way because December isn’t typically a good month for our business.

Ohana’s budget management and communication have been good. We have a Zoom call every week to talk about what’s going on and where we’re headed. We also use a spreadsheet on Google Drive, and we text and call each other when needed.

So far, working with Ohana has been a very smooth process, but their most impressive quality is their knowledge of Google Ads and Google Analytics.

I don’t have any constructive feedback for Ohana so far, but we’ve only been working together for around six weeks. Perhaps, time will tell if there’s something that they could improve.

I wanted to create more sales leads for a new retreat product I was developing and hired Ohana to develop and implement a search engine marketing campaign. My goals were to increase sales, test the viability of the product and gain insight as to what improvement I needed to make in order to increase sales even more.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Ohana contacted me with the sincerity and experience I was looking for in the hiring process. They outshined all other potential contractors and had a record of proven results to support the decision. Plus, because what I do is quite niche, it was essential to find someone comfortable and fluent in the psychology of the ideal customer, which they were.

We first developed a long list of keywords together along with conversion goals and other benchmarks, then they took these items along with the unique constraints we needed to work with to create attractive copy. They were efficient and communicative throughout the process, reviewing the campaigns and paid keywords, eliminating and optimizing where necessary.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Ohana delivered what I needed, creating a stream of incoming sales leads that led to the sales I was looking for. They supported me even further by providing light consultation on my website and copy in order to make it even more attractive and successful. Our first month of results were fantastic, seeing a substantial increase in sales and traffic.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Overall, I have to say the workflow was good. It is not always easy working between different time zones but we managed and they were reachable consistently.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their dedication and timely and precise execution gave me confidence in the process and product. I would recommend them to anyone.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There was some confusion around conversion code implementation that I would've liked to be informed of earlier on in the campaign so we could correct and some attention to strategic growth of the campaign after a few weeks running would've been a nice touch. Overall, however, I am more than pleased and plan on working with them again.

We’ve been working locally for a long time, and we’re now building an application to scale up our business. Thus, we brought in Ohana to help us create a marketing campaign for our app’s launch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ohana is in charge of the whole marketing around our app’s launch. However, we’ve had some delays on our end, so we haven’t launched the marketing campaign yet. In the meantime, Ohana has been doing a lot of preparatory work, getting our website together, doing SEO analyses, and planning the Google ads to figure out the direction we need to take to stretch our budget the furthest.

As for our website, I specifically tasked Ohana to take the content that was already in it and redesigned it according to the direction that we wanted to go in. The designs turned out well, and we now have someone else developing the code necessary for this website.

Ohana performs really well. They’re always on top of everything, and they get tasks done in a quick and thoughtful way. We mainly communicate through Slack, Zoom, and email.

Ohana’s adaptiveness is their key differentiator. They’re able to learn and adapt to different market types. For example, we have numerous small market segments, and they’ve been able to figure out marketing campaigns for the larger segments to focus on the smaller ones later on.
