Designed and built a custom e-commerce platform retailer on Sylius 2 / Symfony 7, tailored to business needs beyond standard solutions. 
Delivered custom domain features including a unified order-dispatch workflow across Sylius and Mercado Libre, custom payment gateways (Mercado Pago, MODO), carrier shipping integration (Rapiboy), back-in-stock notifications, a Google Merchant product feed and CMS content elements. 
Implemented third-party integrations: Mercado Libre (product import/sync, order sync, and review aggregation), Contabilium (asynchronous accounting and invoicing), and Brevo (email marketing driven by order-workflow events). Implemented server-side Meta Conversions API tracking, improving event coverage and match quality for more reliable ad optimization. 
Audited and fixed GA4/GTM tracking and traffic attribution to make reporting trustworthy, and audited the Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts to cut wasted spend and misconfigurations.

The new platform processed ~449 paid orders in its first holiday quarter (Oct–Dec 2025), peaking in November, proving the store held up under the business's busiest end-of-year season.

Normally in Argentina the brands that try to develop an online store, end up forced to use a generic Saas solution. Custom developments are rare and are usually reserved for large stores or retailers. 
So when we found Odiseo we were very impressed by the professional approach to our needs, and the quality of the website they delivered. As clients, we feel that no idea is too difficult for the team and that all the customizations we can imagine, are possible.

To build from scratch, a fully functional website that is identical to eventbrite. I required additional features to customize it for my liking, but like Eventbrite, it needed to process financial transactions, strong search features, and a solid UI/UX.

I selected this vendor based on the technical skill set I needed for this project. I did some searching online, and found this organization, and decided to reach out to them.

Because the magnitude of the project was large, it had to be broken down in multiple phases. The team initially took my requirements, assessed them, and gave me a presentation describing the various milestones, tasks, and deliverables, as well as the related costs. The technologies used were:

I had honestly one primary point of contact, who was the project manager, and a secondary point of contact who is the CTO, and cofounder. However, there were others working behind the scenes on this project as developers and testers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As of right now, the site is quite impressive in terms of it's look and feel. The project is still in progress, but it is coming together quite nicely. The search features are working very well, along with the UI to display, and create events.

We primarily communicated with one another via WhatsApp, and email. This was very convenient, because the feedback I received was often times within minutes, if not sooner. As for timelines, Odiseo always delivered on their projected targets. I don't recall a single instance where they missed their target date.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found multiple things extremely impressive about them:

1. Very quick response time to my questions. They were very accessible, and able to communicate with me without any language barrier.
2. They were not typical consultants in that they simply worked like robots doing as they were told. Yes the customer is always right, but rather than acting like "yes men", they acted like fellow executives sitting on my board, and advised me what would be best for my project. They genuinely were interested in my best interests, and almost every time, I took their suggestion when they gave it. They were not just strong in their technical skills, but strong in their business analytical skills.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

A project of this magnitude was very new to me, so I honestly don't have anything to compare it to. I don't have any areas of suggestion, in fairness. What I can say is that whenever I had discovered a problem, or a bug, they were very quick to address it.

I really wasn't sure what to expect at first when I started working with this company, but I am very pleasantly surprised with the outcome thus far. Their quality has been superb, and their price is quite reasonable compared to the competition.
