I’m the owner of The GraphicJungle, LLC, a graphics studio.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nyx Ditech?

We needed multiple professional websites built, including an e-commerce site with a shopping cart, social buttons, database, and downloadable products.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Nyx Ditech is developing sites for the services and products that I offer. After a consultation, they make suggestions for a host for the site. They suggest which platform and what programming to use. When everything is agreed upon, they go ahead and build the platform. They do both the design and programming, the frontend and backend.

One of my websites is for stock photography and art. Anyone can subscribe to the site for free, and we have an interface to upload artists’ work. Users have an account that they can administer on the website. Nyx Ditech has also integrated a shopping cart. The site they developed is not just informational but deeper, with e-commerce features, integrated promotion features, multiple accounts, account management, and engagement on the side of subscribers, artists, buyers, and the community. They started on a mobile app as well, which is not yet finished. Nyx Ditech has experience with HTML5, PHP, database management, and e-commerce. We have four resources that work on our projects.

How did you come to work with Nyx Ditech?

There’s a ton of websites that offer freelance services. I’ve worked with several of those services and always got burned. It’s very hard to find trustworthy developers. I’ve worked with a lot of programmers, and Nyx Ditech is the only team that I developed trust with. I saw their work, interviewed them, and tested them on a smaller scale. The trust grew from there. Their cost was also reasonable.

How much have you invested with Nyx Ditech?

I have spent $30,000 over the course of our relationship.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in February 2015, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I don’t have any metrics. They do it all and they do it in a timely fashion. Nyx Ditech is eager to work and correct things whenever I ask them, and they do it quickly. They seem to be patient. A lot of programmers behave unprofessionally and take things personally when you critique them. Some won’t correct the issue, would correct it badly, take too long, or disappear on you. None of that is true with Nyx Ditech. I’m happy with them.

How did Nyx Ditech perform from a project management standpoint?

I communicate daily with them through Slack, Wunderlist, email, and Skype about corrections, uploading files, etc. Even though I’m in the US and they’re in India, there has been no barrier because of the time difference. They’re up for quite a few hours.

What did you find most impressive about Nyx Ditech?

Because I’ve had so many bad experiences, I would say number one is trust. They’re reliable and honest. If there’s a problem, they tell you; they don’t hide it.

Are there any areas Nyx Ditech could improve?

I would ask them to get experience with developing for the Mac OS. Everything is mobile, but there are still desktops around.
