I signed up with Nuclear Networking sometime in 2021 for guest posting SEO services. We agreed they would build links via guest posts (a very white-hat approach) by creating original content and partnering with publishers.

As an SEO practitioner, I gave them stringent guidelines on what type of content should be posted, along with the criteria for good and bad links. Early in our relationship, I saw they were posting on spammy sites and had a detailed meeting with them to once again reiterate the criteria for good vs bad.

They apologized and agreed to change their methodology. For the next year and a half, I let them run on autopilot, trusting that they were doing their best work and following best practices. To my dismay, in December of 2022, I noticed that many of the links they created were either on spammy sites, or there was no link at all on the website. All in all, during the engagement, we agreed on 248 articles with links. From the links they "created," 100 were spammy (leading us to disavow them), and 56 were no link at all (they lied that the article featured our products and linked back to our website).

We paid them $90,000. As only 89 links are usable, they charged us $1,011/link. I am sure you would agree, that is an absurd amount. If they had created 248 satisfactory links (as mutually agreed), we would be at $362.90/link.

Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way that Nuclear Networking rips off their customers. I recommend looking elsewhere for SEO services.

They promised to do certain work that wasn't fulfilled.

I’m the owner of Mile High Hot Tubs. We’re one of Denver’s leading spa providers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nuclear Networking SEO & PPC?

We went months without people walking into our business when we first opened our company. We realized that we lacked digital marketing and an online presence. That’s why we decided to jump on board with Nuclear Networking to kick it up a notch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Nuclear Networking designed our website. Currently, their team advises us on our digital marketing strategy and helps us implement it. They do Facebook, Instagram, and Google ads. They also handle our SEO strategy and all of the analytics.

How did you come to work with Nuclear Networking SEO & PPC?

I found Nuclear Networking on Google. I called several companies and met with some of them, but we decided to go with Nuclear Networking because it seemed like they knew their game better. It was essential for us to go with someone who knew more than their competitors. Also, it seemed like they’d already researched our company, so we went with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working in December 2019, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After the first weekend, we hit record sales from a quick Facebook campaign. We’ve also ranked on the first page at Google thanks to the SEO strategy. We estimate that if we spend a couple of thousand dollars worth of Facebook ads, our sales increase, and we get around $100,000 in return.

Additionally, we’ve expanded our target audience thanks to them. Our demographic used to be 40 years old people or older with a household income of about $150,000 or more. Now, we’ve seen that a quarter of our new clients are young and successful families. We were missing a lot before, and we wouldn’t have marketed that demographic had not been for Nuclear Networking’s help.

How did Nuclear Networking SEO & PPC perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through email. Nuclear Networking is very responsive and easy to get ahold of. If I have a question, they’re happy to answer, which I appreciate. They’ve assigned us a person to solve all of our problems, which has been great. A lot of other companies I’ve worked with don’t offer those services.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I worked with other companies that wouldn’t solve any issues with our ads just because we called on a Saturday and they were closed on weekends. However, Nuclear Networking works over hours, so I can just contact the person assigned to me, and they help us. Also, they’re very responsive. Whenever we have questions, they recommend to us what to do and what not to do. They’re experts in their field.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’ve been times in which I don’t understand something because they use complex terms. However, I stop them and ask them to explain it in simple terms, and they do.

Other than that, I don’t have any complaints about their work. They’ve been better than all of the companies I’ve worked with.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The biggest thing that I’ve learned working with Nuclear Networking is not to be afraid. We didn’t know if we’d get our investment back, so we were at their mercy. Nevertheless, it’s all worked out very well. They’ve taken the time to understand our needs and get us working in the most efficient way possible.

In addition, understand that making it to the first page on Google takes time. You’re not going to get there fast. In contrast, they can help you rank on Facebook and Instagram easily.
