I’m an automotive software engineer at FPT Software, a global IT services provider offering AI-powered solutions and digital transformation services to clients across various industries, including many Fortune Global 500 companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with NTQ Europe?

We needed help with an automotive software project. The main goals were to increase development capacity, accelerate the implementation of automotive diagnostic features, support software integration and testing, and meet project delivery timelines.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NTQ Europe handled software development and testing for automotive diagnostic functions. The scope included implementing diagnostic features, developing and integrating software components, API integration, bug fixing, and functional testing. The team developed and integrated software components for diagnostic data processing, vehicle fault code (DTC) handling, and diagnostic communication. The team also supported API integration, error handling, and testing of diagnostic functions. The main deliverables included diagnostic software modules, integrated software components, test cases and test results, and bug fixes/releases.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

NTQ Europe increased the project’s development capacity by adding a dedicated 6-person engineering team, enabling faster implementation of diagnostic features and supporting the delivery of key development milestones. The team also helped improve testing coverage and reduce the turnaround time for bug fixes and feature releases. Overall, the team helped increase development capacity by approximately 30%, improve testing coverage by around 20%, and reduce bug fix turnaround time by approximately 15–20%, helping the project meet key development milestones more efficiently.

How did NTQ Europe perform from a project management standpoint?

NTQ Europe demonstrated strong project management throughout the engagement. The team communicated proactively, responded quickly to issues, and worked effectively with our internal team. Deliverables were completed on time, and the project milestones were met as planned. We communicated via email and messaging apps.

What impressed us most was NTQ Europe’s ability to quickly understand the automotive domain and adapt to our existing development processes. They also collaborated closely with our internal team throughout the project, providing technical recommendations and ensuring the solution met our functional and performance requirements.
NTQ Europe developed the core functionalities of the mobile chat application, including real-time messaging, user authentication, push notifications, group chats, file sharing, and backend API integration. They also handled testing, bug fixing, and deployment support to ensure a stable and reliable application.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

NTQ Europe's project was delivered on schedule and met all of our key business and technical requirements. The application provided a stable, user-friendly messaging experience and was successfully adopted by our internal users. We also saw improved communication efficiency and received positive feedback from stakeholders after launch.
Within the first three months after launch, more than 90% of targeted users actively adopted the application. Average response times improved by approximately 30%, while communication became more streamlined through a centralized messaging platform. User feedback highlighted the application's reliability and ease of use.

How did NTQ Europe perform from a project management standpoint?

We primarily communicated through virtual meetings. As with most software implementations, we encountered a few minor issues during the initial rollout, including configuration adjustments and user adoption.
