That person will receive notification from the system that they were sent a request. If they’re interested, they can accept the request. Being a startup, I wouldn’t say that success is monetary — that isn’t totally what I am looking for. In the beginning, I wanted to get my operations up and working, and Novumlogic was pretty good.

The quality of the work is amazing. Even when I work with private marketing freelancers, I source the work through Novumlogic. The feedback I receive on their jobs is remarkable — there have been 3–4 instances where their turnaround time has been spot on.

How did Novumlogic Technologies Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

I have tried Slack, but it is too expensive for my startup at the moment, so our main communication method is email. We’ve also been using Jira since 2018.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are very flexible and reasonable. I work with a lot of small businesses, and it’s very tough for them to spend money on the things we ask them to spend money on, especially in the technology domain. Usually, my clients ask for costs to be reduced, and whenever I have to use development muscle, Novumlogic is very accommodating. It’s not that they never say no, but they’re reasonable.

For example, on my last project, the client needed a basic three-page website. He already had one on Wix but he wanted it to be on WordPress, and he requested it be done for around $600. Novumlogic asked if the client could spend $750 so that the talent would be happy, and they would be able to do the work. The client appreciated the response they gave, and they accepted it. Novumlogic is flexible enough to take this type of work, so I keep going to them.

They’re professional, especially when I am working with my Canadian clients, and they have experience working with US clients, UK clients, and Australian clients.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Novumlogic is expanding right now, and expansion is crucial for a startup; I want to see how they scale up and how they manage it. When you only have a few people, delivering quality is easy, but when you have multiple people, there is a bigger chance that things will go wrong.

Since site and app is launched, we hardly got a bad review for late or no response and I believe that is all what wanted to achieve. We also got more leads from the Calculator idea and it reduced our work load also. Later on we have removed the calculator from the site as some of our clients expected more detailed quotations rather than only pricing.

Our company name is Tennis Ball Cricket Association and we arrange 20 over cricket tournament on every Sunday for entertainment in local community.

As we progress year by year, tournament it is getting bigger with 1lmost 15+ teams participating in one tournament. So there will be lot admin time I was spending for same thing.

Therefore we decided to digitalise the work with having mobile application for admin works such as tournament schedule, umpire allocation and adhoc update depends on their unavailability, updating team, points table and other statistics.

So we contacted and finalised Novumlogic to develop the mobile application for us.

What were your goals for this project?

With the mobile application we were aiming to have reduced admin work from our end and also give more control to the individual captain of teams to update their team players and other details on their own.

Umpires can also update their availability for matches and therefore less time in communication with the teams with last minutes changes.

All the teams can view the point tables after their matches so they can know where other teams are standing without checking with individual teams or to check with myself.

We were assigned with project manager who was the only point of contact for us and updating with our status. However its was informed to us that 1 front end developer and two backend developer was involved in the development.

With the application we are able to reduce our admin work significantly. All the teams are able to keep up with tournament progress. There is lot of reduction in communication between the teams and myself.

My role in the company is to provide technology leadership and drive analytical insights.

Ground booking was managed on call earlier thus we have very little & not so accurate data to make decisions from. So we hired Novumlogic to develop mobile application for our customers and admin panel for our team. We did not have any in-house engineers so we hired Novumlogic.

We wanted mobile and web-based application to improve operational efficiency for the agents facilitating the booking inquiries across all of our facilities. Another goal was to optimize the booking process and finding available slots across different facilities.

We searched for app developers in Vadodara as all our partners are based out of Vadodara, and connected with few of them. Out of which we shortlisted 2 and asked them to send us proposal and present development plan.

Development plan provided by Novumlogic had very clear explanation and completely matched our vision. After 3 meetings with them we hired them. At very start of project, we had 3 meetings for requirement gathering and brainstorming.

I remember, their team gave required inputs & suggested ideas for seamless experience for our users. Which I believe is one of the reason for the increase in out customer.

After that, they have given us paper mock-ups with explanation doc. Once changes in that is finalized, within 2 weeks we got 2 app mockup designs with prototype for Android & iOS both. With development also, everything was on Jira and well documented.

Overall I would say, the process they followed, the way they communicated and the final products they delivered was absolutely what we wanted. App was ready & launched in targeted 6 months.

Even though the world was going through tough pandemic times, our customer base increased.  We got enough data to build and test our admin panel.
Analytical insights with graphical representation helped us to understand data and take action for or growth.
