Please describe your company and your position there.

I´m the CTO of a development IoT company, own equipment with 3D printing and integration with different types of sensors that are connected in real time to the platform.

For what projects/services did your company hire Novit?

As a IoT devices manufacturer we needed to stop using third party platforms for device tracking, so we decided to develop our own platform from scratch. Novit provided us with a team withi expertise on the field.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We chose them between three different proposals because theirs was the most complete. They included things in the proposal that none of the others did, like post-production support.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

They provided a project plan based on weekly meetings to show progress, but the communication with the team took place daily. The scope was a software platform working as a hub for every IoT device, with access to our clients to a lot of different reporting services. The technologies used were mainly .NET Core, Angular and Azure Cloud Services.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Three developers, The team leader and an UX designer

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We outperformed the previous software’s response times by almost 40%. This led us to a much better user experience for our customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They suggested to use Discord as communication platform between teams, and that worked great with our team. They also adapted to our ticketing system, by using Jira and Github which allowed us to get the same metrics from the projects that we use internally. The overall management style was really flexible, the Team Leader was really motivational and I think that was a huge factor.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The project finished as planned, with great post-production support. We successfully replaced the third party platform with the new one, which saved us that monthly cost.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We didn't have any issue or complain about their work.

I’m the CEO of RSI Argentina, a Real Estate company. We develop, build, and sell buildings, offices and premium houses in Buenos Aires.

We needed to develop a mobile tool, offline capable, that all of our 200 sales representants could use in the field in a daily basis.

They work with Scrum, Trello and they were releasing each 3 weeks a functional deliverable product. Stack: Angular, .NET Core, Android, AWS, CouchDB.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

2 Full Stack Sr. Developers (Angular + .NET Core) and in some sprints a Cloud Software Architecture and a CouchDB expert.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We achieve our goals thanks the agile team. We finally deploy the app for 200 users simultaneously.

They solve problems! They were never stuck and always went forward.
