Please describe your company and your position there.

UARExperiences creates educational games for mobile platforms (iPad/iPhone/Android/Web). I am the CEO/Founder.

For what projects/services did your company hire Novaby?

We hired Novaby to create a promotional video for our game, Words On A Wall.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to have a video that would get viewer to go to either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and install our game.

SOLUTION

How did you select Novaby?

We became aware of Novaby at an MIT conference on advances in augmented reality. Julia from Novaby gave a feature presentation showing off their work promoting jazz in San Francisco. Both Novaby's mobile app and their animation was top notch, so I was anxious to have the opportunity to work together.

When they committed to producing a video in time to meet our tight marketing schedule, and all at very competitive rates, it was an easy decision to go with them.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

Novaby helped with everything from the initial script, to story boarding, to animation, and finally though post production to deliver an outstanding product right on schedule.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Throughout the process, we worked collaboratively with the team at Novaby. We went through several iterations that continuously improved our video. Not only did the team at Novaby provide great suggestions, they also incorporated our changes in ways that improved upon our initial comments.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were very pleased with the results which can be seen at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VgS7CWIknU. It has also been performing well, delivering a CPI of ~$0.40 before optimizing audience targeting.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We found the workflow very effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Novaby has a great team of extremely talented individuals. An extra bonus was that they were fun to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No suggestions for improvements. Working with Novaby was great.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I work in the E-commerce department. I perform multiple tasks but primarily develop content, mostly photorealistic visuals of our products, for e-commerce and marketing purposes.

For what projects/services did your company hire Novaby?

We needed additional support for the visualization of multiple products. Novaby has turned out to be a great resource for that purpose.

What were your goals for this project?

Produce the multiple views needed with the different finishes of our current brass products. It was hundreds of visuals.

SOLUTION

How did you select Novaby?

I did some research online for a solution that would suit our current and future needs. Novaby was a good solution.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

We supplied 3D CAD models to Novaby which they were able to create a lighting, shading, and rendering solution that would match our own existing in-house solution. They produced hundreds of renderings for us. Each product required multiple views and often with different finishes.

What was the team composition?

I worked with one person who managed the account and another who worked on any technical details or specific needs. There were various artists that worked on the projects at Noivaby.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All of what Novvaby has done has proven to be an excellent solution. Their work continues to be used including the very first renderings they did for us. They are used throughout the western hemisphere markets.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

This is what has been so great about Novaby. They have been so professional in their management. Their work is consistent, always on time and impeccable. I just don't get any negative feedback from anyone at TOTO, it's always positive.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The consistency, the timeliness, and the always positive experience in working with them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No. If anything in working with them, it has shed light on what we ourselves need to improve upon.

IDA had a great experience working with Julia and the team at Novaby to create virtual backgrounds for our 66th Annual Conference & Marketplace.
