The scope of work included ongoing SEO strategy and execution focused on improving Plum Paper’s organic search visibility and long-term digital discoverability. The scope of work included monthly SEO content development for key product pages, backlink outreach and digital PR placements to strengthen domain authority, and ongoing monitoring of search performance using industry tools. Noah also provided guidance on on-page and technical SEO improvements, collaborated with our internal development team on site optimizations, and advised on emerging search trends such as AI-driven discovery platforms. Key deliverables included SEO-optimized product content, backlink and brand mention placements, performance reporting and insights, and strategic recommendations to improve rankings, organic traffic, and overall search visibility.

One area for improvement would be response times and follow-up communication. While the work itself was solid, there were occasions where responses took longer than expected and we needed to follow up to get updates.

Our engagement began with a discovery phase and we laid out our goals. They helped us with keyword research and performed an analysis of our competitors. From there, they made on-site changes and created new collateral with our updated tactics and keywords. Their team also writes monthly content targeting our electrical contractor demographic.

They assigned a project manager who distributed work amongst their team. There were 2 SEO specialists in communication with us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since implementing the SEO efforts, we're ranking on the 1st page for several keywords. Our site traffic is steadily growing, too. Contractors were also able to view and inquire about our services as well.

They've been great a managing our expectations and meeting deadlines. We mostly use email and a program called Trello to communicate and they were always quick to respond and implement changes. We have a monthly roundtable meeting with both of our teams for big updates.

Their level of professionalism and overall knowledge within the industry stands out. They did a lot of due diligence before getting started to ensure we had a smooth project. Also, we appreciated their follow-through and willingness to deliver.

Their team were true professionals and we enjoyed working with them. None at this time.

We hired NKC because we needed help growing our organic traffic and we were losing good rankings on high traffic keywords. Our goals were to improve organic traffic, optimize our automated email flows and improve our PPC campaigns and targeting.

I had worked with the founder of NKC on another project when he worked at a top 100 marketing firm. My positive experience then allowed me to have the confidence to trust my business needs to NKC.

After onboarding with the team at NKC, they made it easy to provide access to our FB ads, Google ads and other ad platforms. Impressively, NKC turned around 2 on topic and relevant blog posts for keyword targeting in the first month! NKC uses multiple sources of information to compile a wholistic approach to SEO and keyword targeting.

Based on our projections, NKC was tasked with growing our organic traffic and to retarget our ads to squeeze an extra $50,000 per month of revenue in the short term. So far, 4 months into our contract, we saw a measurable improvement in month 2 and are now setting record high sales for off season months with traffic we typically see in Summer. NKC has successfully lowered our CPC for PPC ads while also targeting more relevant demographics resulting in an improved conversion rate.

I work with the Founder and Project Manager. Both are very easy to communicate with and are quick to pick up the phone for a quick answer to prevent delays or otherwise missed opportunities.

We have set record sales in the 2nd and 3rd months of our partnership with NKC. Our traffic is up about 30% with the lion share being organic. The goal was to "find" an extra $50,000 of revenue per month, we have effectively achieved this goal in one quarter, with still more room to run.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

NKC is very effective. I am not a person that stays on task or responds to non-emergency emails with any sense of timeliness. Noah Kain Consulting's people are polite and persistent. They are never afraid to pick up the phone or text for quick answers instead of stalling a project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nearly every SEO/Digital agency charges a percent based commission on PPC marketing. They will tell you that you need to spend $$$ to achieve sales. NKC does not manage large PPC budgets, they focus on SEO. They will manage a small budget to compliment organic traffic, but they stand by their product, their product being SEO Expertise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

NKC does not offer website development, which doesn't make them a one stop shop.

Blog posts built authority, professionalism, and trust with our customers in addition to the SEO benefits. Built a very strong foundation by optimizing our on-page and technical SEO. We also did see an organic sale come through very soon.
