Please describe your company and your position there.

Medu is the healthcare industry education and ranking platform. Medu organizes symposiums, summits, gatherings, educational events and holds accreditation track record of doctors in Georgia.

I am co-founder and CEO at Medu, where the idea of our project was born between myself (one of the leading doctors in Georgia) and my friend who is a well established business individual.

For what projects/services did your company hire NLYC • Software Development Provider, and what were your goals?

We approached NLYC with our idea, that we wanted to unify healthcare professionals, enhance their qualification by workshops, seminars, symposiums and summits. We didn’t have experience of building digital products and our coal was to find a trustworthy partner who would understand our business model, structure the technical requirement document and potentially build the product for us. Product ownership would be totally on the partner side.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

NLYC came to my co-founder’s mind straight ahead, she had interaction with them earlier in her career. Her previous experience was that NLYC had good understanding of product management and had the team to provide product ownership as well as software development.

ompany provided us with the product owner initially, who worked along with us for over a month to understand our business idea, problem which we were solving and processes behind the idea. She prepared the technical requirement document for us, we discussed and agreed on it.

After constructing a tech requirement, the product owner was communicating all the processes with us and kept us up to date. We had to receive the MVP of online conferencing portal with custom registration flow within 2 months from starting of software development which was delivered on time.

They developed the project on Laravel and suggested that at this early stage, there was no need to develop front end on the JS framework, as it would be more costly and for us the cost was crucial. As the next phase in developing our project they suggested making SPA frontend and also a mobile app.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We directly communicated with CEO for deal making, the product owner for product building purposes and training of our staff after delivery. As for development 3 software developers, a tester and a sysadmin had worked on our project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

NLYC helped us build the tech product for the first time in our experience, they also always tried to explain to us how the process works and gave us insights how to deal with tech companies. They are very friendly, partner minded and are trying to provide value, not just deliver a product.

NLYC delivered the product on time, supported us in operations and till today are ready to support if we need any minor changes.

They work with Scrum, since we had zero experience in digital products, they decided to dedicate Product Owner to us and not a project manager.

They are working with Jira for task management and communications are really flexible, you can always use email, slack or even whatsapp for quick notifications, which they always transfer to Jira not to miss anything.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their approach to fully understand our goals and processes. They acted like our in-house team and provided their services with full dedication. They supported us in operations and launching as well. Their communication skills and trustworthiness is the unique traits we’ve seen in the industry.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We don’t have any remarks.

I am a Head of Marketing at Agrosphere, a company based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Our company has been operating in agribusiness since 2005 and is now one of the largest distribution companies in this direction

With NLYC we developed our e-commerce website agrosphere.ge - they provided us a variety of services, we developed an actual e-commerce website, also custom payment gateway, a custom API service to integrate with merchant partners and so on...

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We relied on their experience, while we knew their previous projects. Also the main factor is their flexibility and rapid service, alongside with good communications skills.

They developed our e-commerce website with VUE.js on Laravel Framework.

There were one sys admin and one project manager, they were in front of a team of developers in their company.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have a quick and user-friendly website, with useful functions for customers, we have different payment options, there are integrated delivery services, and our ERP service for warehouse order management.

We had communicated with the project manager and he was managing to provide the best service for us. We also used the kanban tool for task management, so we knew where we were at anytime.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As I mentioned all the staff of NLYC was under our project manager, so we can talk only about him. They worked perfectly, with high quality of service and good timing.

a multi layer affiliate marketing management platform with built in CRM and marketing automation tools

NLYC had to provide product design, UIX, software development management and as the final deliverable a working platform acceptable for us. They attached their product analyst to us, our head of affiliation worked closely with her and within 6 months period they delivered a very comfortable to use, multi language platform which we are using now

We had communication with 4 people, Head of Sales and CEO for negotiations and final agreement, Product Analyst for shaping the technical requirements, Project Manager for keeping the updates of the process and

NLYC understand the business process, analyse our goals together with us in details, deliver the technical requirements document to us and deliver the product which solved all our business and operational goals within the agreed timeframe.

They closely worked with us before starting any development and communicated and understood our needs. They created the tech requirements and discussed it with us. The process is set up in Jira and any requests can easily be registered there.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their profound approach towards understanding our business, they don't rely just on the given information, they try to fully understand business needs and processes that needs to be automated, this enables them to deliver tailored products.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything was great, the only we additionally asked NLYC was to provide information on why chosen technologies were the best fit for the project, we needed it to include in our project scope internally.
