BACKGROUND

Please describe your organization.

We are a San Francisco-based creative agency. We focus on design driven visualizations through interactive experiences, large-scale events, video production, animation, and motion graphics.

What is your position?

I’m the co-founder and business development lead. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What business challenge were you trying to address with nKey Mobile Solutions?

The challenge at the time was that we were taking on some new technology projects and at that particular time, we didn’t have the infrastructure to accommodate them. We were looking for trusted partners to collaborate with to get those projects across the finish line.

Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

nKey helped us with different app development. All their work was good. 

How did you come to work with nKey Mobile Solutions?

We met nKey through a different engagement. Through that engagement, we got to know one of their employees, and we trusted him.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

Our partnership with nKey falls between $50,000 and $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together during the course of a year. We still reach out to them from time to time. We now are able to provide those development capabilities in-house so we don’t need nKey’s services as much, but not for any fault of theirs.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

Everything worked as promised, and we didn’t have any bugs that came up down the road. Our apps worked out fine. nKey has also helped us with some software that still runs to this day.

What distinguishes nKey Mobile Solutions from other providers?

nKey Mobile Solutions has a nice visual aesthetic. That’s very important to us. We do everything based on visual impact to delight users. Many development firms we work with are good technically, but not aesthetically, and nKey Mobile Solutions was exceptional in that regard. They understood our timelines, which helped a lot. 

Is there anything nKey Mobile Solutions could have improved or done differently?

I think, overall, everything went pretty well. The only negative was that when we needed some revisions to one of our apps they were too busy to take it on. The biggest challenge was that their development capabilities would bottleneck sometimes and that put us in some difficult situations.
