We are requesting the vendor’s assistance in designing the UI/UX and logo as part of our company’s branding process. The scope of work includes creating a professional logo that represents our company’s vision, mission, and identity, as well as designing user interfaces (UI/UX) for our application or website, including the main page, login, dashboard, and core user flows. The final designs must be responsive for both desktop and mobile views, complete with wireframes, high-resolution mockups, and interactive prototypes. Additionally, the vendor is expected to deliver all design assets in development-ready formats, including source files, design guidelines, and component documentation. Active collaboration throughout the design process is highly expected to ensure that the final output aligns with our business needs and direction.

The project delivered several measurable outcomes that demonstrate clear progress and success. First, we received a complete and visually appealing UI/UX design aligned with our brand direction and user needs, resulting in positive internal feedback from stakeholders. The logo created was also successfully applied across our digital and print assets, strengthening our visual identity. Additionally, the design handover was well-structured and developer-ready, which helped streamline the development phase. The timely delivery of all design milestones according to the agreed timeline also demonstrated strong project management and collaboration.

Their project management was highly professional and efficient. They consistently delivered all agreed items on time, following the project timeline without significant delays. Communication was clear and proactive throughout the engagement, and they were responsive to our feedback and requests for adjustments. They demonstrated a strong ability to understand our needs and translate them into actionable design solutions, which made the collaboration smooth and productive. Regular updates and checkpoints helped ensure alignment and allowed us to track progress effectively.

What impressed us most about this company was their ability to deeply understand our brand values and translate them into a visually appealing and user-friendly design. Their creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to go beyond expectations made them stand out. Additionally, their collaborative approach and openness to feedback created a strong sense of partnership throughout the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Nija Works Studio could have done differently?

One area for improvement could be providing more detailed documentation or rationale behind certain design decisions. While the overall delivery was excellent, having more transparency in the creative process could help us better align internal expectations and make more informed decisions. Nonetheless, this did not significantly affect the success of the project.

To create a second edition of a previous game campaign, where the previous campaign's content was built upon and new game features were added.

Key deliverables included:

• UI/UX design for new game features (a colouring minigame and a Family Feud minigame)
  
  
  • All UI was done in vector format
• Logo and key visual design, and adaptation of the key visual into different sizes
• Improvements to the existing base game based on feedback from the team
• 24 black and white vector illustrations for the colouring minigame

We have also engaged them for 4 other projects besides this, where the scope of work was similar.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In our first engagement with them, they exceeded expectations. For their delivery of the user flow diagram, they went above and beyond to deliver it in terms of lo-fi screens with the flows illustrated through arrows, instead of just a diagram. Work done for our first engagement was also generally good. The aesthetics of the UI and game assets were cohesive and appealing, and they delivered on the more niche requests like game asset animation as well.

They generally deliver work and revisions promptly, and their project managers are very proactive in providing and asking for updates which is greatly appreciated on our end. They are also receptive to feedback. During our first engagement, we asked for them to share their thoughts behind their design decisions as well and they did, which provided us with an alternative perspective to consider and improved our overall design.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They can do Rive animations and game UI/UX, which is rare amongst agencies offering UI/UX services.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Nija Works Studio could have done differently?

They could be more attentive to details as there were minor mistakes in the previews and deliverables we received, like lacking consistency in the UI and artwork (e.g. in an animation featuring backgrounds with different times of the day, the land would be in different positions between different times) or incorrect fonts being used.  The minor mistakes were also something that we sometimes had to clean up on our end due to timeline constraints.In our projects thus far, they have allowed us to access and copy their work from Figma. However, it was suddenly restricted in our latest project with them despite the contract not having any terms regarding work being withheld before milestone payments. This caused us quite a bit of inconvenience and delays in handing the work over to our developers.

nijaworks created a complete dashboard application based on our ideas and mockups. In the process, nijawork contributed its own suggestions for optimisation. Once the dashboard application had been programmed, it was implemented in our existing AWS infrastructure, including an API connection.

nijaworks realised the project very quickly and within the agreed time frame. All bugs were solved within a few hours so that our project could start 2 days before the planned launch.

We became aware of nijaworks by chance and initially realised a small joint project ‘as a test’. We were immediately impressed by their project management, the excellent realization of our ideas, and their speed. We have already realised 2 large projects with nijaworks and more are in the pipeline. We are looking forward to a long-term partnership with nijaworks and many more joint projects. A small side effect: due to the time difference between Indonesia and Europe, we were able to work together on the projects almost 24/7. An incredible gain in speed. We can recommend nijaworks without reservation!
