Nightjar was engaged to redesign and rebuild the Decor Systems website to align with our company’s growth objectives and reflect our position as a leading supplier of architectural acoustic and decorative panels.

The project aimed to develop a market-leading digital platform tailored to architects, designers, and builders, enhancing user experience while increasing qualified lead generation and positioning Decor Systems as a high-quality, customer-focused supplier.

Key deliverables included a sleek, modern design with improved navigation, a robust projects portfolio, and a well-organised resources section for easy access to specification documents. The website incorporated features such as responsive design and integration with Salesforce CRM.

The project emphasised ease of updates for our team and streamlined the user journey for sample requests and enquiries, ensuring the site served as an essential specification tool for industry professionals.

Nightjar's approach delivered a future-proof website aligned with Decor Systems' branding and ambitious growth goals, effectively showcasing our innovative capabilities and high-profile projects.

The redesigned Decor Systems website has delivered measurable outcomes that have significantly impacted the business. Since its launch, we have seen a substantial increase in traffic and leads, with the site now consistently generating 10+ marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) per week. This growth in engagement has translated into a higher volume of sample requests and inquiries, directly contributing to our sales pipeline.
Additionally, anecdotal feedback from our sales representatives and market contacts has been overwhelmingly positive, with clients and specifiers frequently commenting on the website's modern design, intuitive navigation, and ease of finding technical information. This feedback reaffirms the website’s role as a vital tool for positioning Decor Systems as a market leader.

Beyond driving sales, the website has also contributed to operational efficiencies, particularly in human resources. By showcasing our brand values and innovative projects, the site has become a compelling recruitment tool, attracting high-quality candidates who are inspired by our work. Are there any areas for improvement or something Nightjar could have done differently?

Nightjar delivered an exceptional service, and it's genuinely difficult to pinpoint areas for improvement. If anything, perhaps a bit more proactive communication around what was in/out of scope could have been helpful to ensure even greater alignment. That said, their responsiveness and attention to detail more than compensated for any minor gaps, and we were thoroughly impressed by the final outcome.

Project Scope of Work 

ZETR engaged Nightjar for end to end design and development of a digital experience. Our previous site was managed in house, using Squarespace. The brief was to level up to the next stage, with a digital experience with longevity and growth opportunity for our brand. 

Immersion 

Nightjar stood out to us due to their interest in immersion and understanding of our company, brand and customer. We held a number of of key working sessions to determine joint goals for the end result.

Brand 

Nightjar reference the ZETR Brand Guidelines supplied by the Partner for direction. They skilfully interpretted exisiting branding and refined for the future.

Architecture 

Nightjar understood our complex customer ecosystem and used detailed UX strategy to refine and determine user pathways.

Design 

We were aligned on all initial design concepts (which was amazing!). And worked coehsively between our team and theirs to ensure the new visuals reflected the brand goals. 

A stand out for us was that their designed are always incredibly responsive. Customer led, and technical where it needed ot be, but beautiful & functional.

Nightjar have an API driven, headless approach which sets the foundation for whatever the future holds. We were effectively guided by their team in the below:

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our digital experience was launched in May 2024 and in the 6 months following that we have had significant increase in traffic, leads, and quote requests. We have found that the education surrounding our range and the components has improved hugely, and we have consistent qualitative feedback about the enjoyment when users are engaging with the website.

Everything was delivered on time, with very smooth and transparent communication throughout.

As a small business ourselves, we had specific requirements & timing to ahere to and Nightjar was always supremely understanding and respectful.

Not that I can think of. We are goingto continiue to work with the team at Nightjar to grow and update our digital experience and we look forward to that process.
