I’m the founder of Nimmies Pastry Cafe, the best pastry cafe in Johor Bahru.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nexus Bear?

We needed help to create our own mobile app for Android and iOS.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Nexus Bear developed our custom-made loyalty program and queuing system. The app was coded in PHP and included a backend content management system. The team created the home page, which included the menu, banner, queuing system, and point reward system. The queuing system used latitude and longitude with a table size format. The point reward system used QR codes. The team also created the reward page, where users could redeem points using the QR code method. The inbox feature allowed users to receive backend and system messages and personal notifications.

The account management feature allowed users to log in using SMS or email, view point reward details, and access the about us, contact us, terms and conditions, and privacy policy pages. For staff, there was a QR code feature for the point reward system and to write off the user’s voucher and reward. There was also a staff management and queuing function.

For the admin, there was a reward management, user management, photo management, notification management, and staff management feature. The team also created a daily task mission feature where users could redeem daily task mission rewards.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We finally have our own custom-made loyalty program, and we’ve improved our customer loyalty. The return customer rate has increased by 30%. We were very satisfied.
