I’m the IT coordinator of Sensis, a cultural marketing agency that uses data and cultural insights to create integrated, results-driven campaigns for brands across various sectors in the US, Mexico, and Colombia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Next Perimeter?

We needed help with IT support and Microsoft 365 management.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Next Perimeter supports all our workstations remotely and handles all the administrative tasks for our Microsoft 365 tenant. The team has set up our users, distribution lists, Microsoft licensing, onboarded our laptops, and managed our endpoint security.

We’ve worked with many members of Next Perimeter’s team.

How did you come to work with Next Perimeter?

We’ve been using Next Perimeter’s services since before I joined Sensis.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Next Perimeter in November 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Next Perimeter’s smooth operation of their procedures to meet our IT needs has resulted in increased user satisfaction and reduced downtime.

How did Next Perimeter perform from a project management standpoint?

Next Perimeter’s project management is good; the team delivers on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm the IT manager at Kleinberg & Lerner, LLP, an intellectual property law firm. Our company has extensive experience in obtaining patents, trademarks, and copyrights worldwide. We also regularly represent our clients in litigation and trials in federal and state courts to prosecute and defend claims of trademark, patent, and copyright infringement.

What challenge were you trying to address with Next Perimeter?

We wanted to move away from a DaaS environment to a SaaS environment to improve performance and compatibility with peripherals and third-party software.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Next Perimeter has done a complete redesign of our security system, infrastructure, equipment, connectivity, and communications. The team has shifted our focus in terms of security from signing into a secure environment from an unsecured machine to having a secure environment on the laptop we are directly accessing. This increased layer of security allows us to be more compliant with our clients' needs for privacy and confidentiality.

What is the team composition?

We work with 3–5 teammates from Next Perimeter.

How did you come to work with Next Perimeter?

I found Next Perimeter through word of mouth. I was interested in their approach of using managed laptop stations and basing our application and communication infrastructure on Microsoft.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Next Perimeter in September 2024, and one branch of the overall project is still in progress.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The main challenges we've faced have been unraveling the deeply set roots of our old managed service provider (MSP), some of which have still tied us to them until we can completely switch over. This has increased the timeline significantly, with some increase to the budget due to unforeseen rules of our old MSP that required us to spend more than expected.

Next Perimeter's customer support has been excellent. The team communicates well, stays on top of tickets until they are resolved, and truly tries to provide the best experience possible. The team has reduced the overall chronic problems that plagued the firm with our previous MSP.

How did Next Perimeter perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Microsoft Teams, email, and phone calls. We have seen increased internet connectivity, increased cybersecurity awareness, reduced chronic support tickets, reduced downtime due to chronic support tickets, and increased availability and response times of support agents.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their model of moving away from DaaS, which at first appeared to be the opposite direction of where most businesses were moving, has been impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything at the moment. The service and performance have been quite good. Many times, Next Perimeter has advocated for me when dealing with difficult third-party vendors.
