Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Installation of Odoo ERP and configuration. AWS Cloud infrastructure design. We had specific requirements such as creation custom reports, agreement and invoice templates, integration with messengers.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We reduced time for agreement preparation and work with invoices for 40%. Thanks to integration with email box and messengers we got all our leads automatically in pipeline, it's reduced time to filling out the lead deals manually. We have now all reports for analysis and can make right decisions for our strategy.

The team was always in touch, we had direct access to lead manager to ask all questions we needed. Also, we had status calls every two weeks, were they demonstrated us ready stages of the project. We also had a report with the task list and it's status. In the end of each stage Netframe team provided manual and staff training webinars for our company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Netframe?

One of our customers asked if we could provide DevOps services, but we didn’t have the resources to do it, so we needed someone professional and knowledgeable in the AWS field.

Netframe worked offsite to configure our customers' backend and cloud services in AWS.

Our customers were delighted with Netframe's work.

How did Netframe perform from a project management standpoint?

There were no breaches in the deadlines, and whenever I wanted to discuss something, I'd ask via messenger, and they'd join a call with me quickly — their team was very responsive, and I'm happy with the communication with them.

Regarding tools, we communicated through Slack, and our customers tracked the progress on a Jira board. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were professional and always responsive whenever our customers asked technical questions or requests — Netframe knows their stuff. Overall, their professionalism and communication were the qualities I liked the most about them.

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — I was very happy working with them.

I’m the head of delivery at a software development organization. We are a research and development and product company, and we are working on a brand.

What challenge were you trying to address with Netframe?

We lacked some internal DevOps resources due to some organizational changes, so we decided to outsource and collaborate with Netframe to solve our challenges.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Netframe handled DevOps activities for us, including infrastructure setup, system balancing, security, and so on. They completed the entire project scope, but we will potentially work with them again in the future.

What is the team composition?

Two teammates did most of the while, while one took on a managerial role.

How did you come to work with Netframe?

A member of our company is friends with someone in Netframe, and he recommended them. We approached them after we agreed on the pricing and project roadmap.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $50,000–$60,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Netframe from January–May 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Overall, we were happy with Netframe’s service. Some technical peculiarities could’ve been done better; however, we pushed them with a short time limit, and they did very well despite that.

How did Netframe perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was excellent. Netframe's technical staff grew to lead the cooperation and understand all the technical work involved. It was very easy to discuss the scope of work with them. The team also didn’t require any micromanaging because the technical lead was very mature. Overall, it was pretty easygoing cooperation. To communicate, we integrated them into our Slack channel, and we also had some video calls through Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Netframe was a new company, so they were eager to be seen as professionals and earn respect. Moreover, they were young and motivated. Hence, the team put a lot of effort into their work. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve on their reporting. Additionally, Netframe's processes weren’t very mature yet, so there were times when they did some things based on their assumptions and not our needs. Although it wasn’t a big deal, they could’ve clarified things with us more.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Agree with them on a plan and write notes during the meetings to avoid things developed based on assumptions. Furthermore, to set up better cooperation, handle the kick-off meetings with more of a managerial approach.
