They also support us with ongoing bug fixes, UI refinements, and feature rollouts, making sure the app is functional and ready to scale.

Launch of Core MVP: Successfully built and deployed the Ryu App MVP on Bubble, including onboarding, pet profiles, service requests, notifications, and Ryu Dollar (RD) currency system.
User Growth: Onboarded 80+ active users in the pilot building, showing real traction and daily use of the app.
Service Requests: Facilitated dozens of dog walks, sittings, and boarding services through the app, proving the platform works in real life.
RD Economy Circulation: Hundreds of Ryu Dollars have been exchanged between neighbors, demonstrating that the virtual currency is functional and trusted.
Feature Expansion: Added advanced features such as partial acceptance for boarding, tentative matches, backup plan logic, and push notifications — each reducing friction in the user experience.
Community Retention Impact: Early feedback shows the app influenced tenant retention in at least one case, tying directly to the B2B2C amenity model.

If anything, I’d say the only area to strengthen is being even more proactive with suggestions. The team already delivers great work, and adding a bit more anticipation of product needs — offering ideas or options before I bring them up — would make the collaboration even stronger.

After this successful start, the scope expanded into a broader partnership covering continuous platform development, integrations, and optimizations.

Overall, their ability to stay organized and flexible made the entire process smooth and reliable.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the collaboration. The only minor challenge we experienced was during a transition when one developer left the project, which temporarily created some communication gaps. However, NerdHeads quickly addressed the situation with effective solutions, and it did not have a lasting impact on the progress. Beyond that, we do not see any significant areas for improvement at this time.

When new needs or adjustments arose, such as refining workflows after testing or resolving repeat issues caused by platform changes, the team responded quickly and with a solutions-focused approach. While there were occasional repeat fixes due to switching between platforms (e.g., Webflow adjustments), these were always addressed in a timely manner. Overall, their responsiveness and flexibility made it easy to move the project forward without major delays.

We began by thoroughly reviewing our category and competitors, followed by gathering insights from current users. A workshop was conducted to brainstorm new ideas based on user feedback. After finalizing designs, we sought feedback from users once more before deploying to Apple and Google stores.

Their team built the web app according to the scope. They also implemented Google Tag Manager and Analytics as well as a standardized data layer throughout the site.

The web app went live as expected by the requested date. Google tag manager and analytics are configured and tracking user behavior. Automated transactional emails are set up and working properly.
