I'm the Head of Software Development for Decathlon Poland

For what projects/services did your company hire Neontri, and what were your goals?

Neontrii has developed custom integration between our (international) Mobile App for Coworkers and our payments system – allowing our in-store customers paying for the In-store order with BLIK mobile payment. It's the most popular mean of payment in Poland.

It was crucial for us, because customer doesn't have to go to till to pay – he can do it immediately with BLIK. Also, please remember that the initial solution was provided by International team and Neontri had a challenge to speak with people located in Head office in France.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

It was a recommendation from my local community, and I confirm it with the level of the other solutions provided by Neontrii. Also, initial call was conducted with high level of competency. That was a factor that allow me to decide for their offer. Also, I felt full control under the estimation and pricing.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

So the first step was an initial call, where we meet each other. We discuss our challenges and our business. The second step was technical analysis and scope definition, which was done together. The next step was a prototype that we had accepted. Another thing was pure implementation process preceded by setting up an accesses etc.

Then, we get a documentation of the solution and test scenario that we go through together. Then, we had released successfuly the solution.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

In the first weeks after release process – we have collected few millions PLN through this integration (Payment integration) so I'm super satisfied.

It was emails, slack and JIRA board.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of the solution and the whole process was brilliant. What was impressed – it was an experience with cooperation with big companies. They know, that we have to present budget to the board etc. so the whole process was super smooth!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Co-owner / CEO of process integration company on polish financial / insurance market. We use our model and software to integrate banks wit insurance companies and agents.

We partnered with Neontri to develop our integration platform, integrate our insurance and bank partners. Neontri also did maintenance of our software in start phase.

We run a wide search on polish softwarehouse scene. We chose Neontri due to very high quality of personell and experience in banking sector.

Neontri did all the work of technical analysis, project management from technical side. The development, testing and maintenance in first stage. Their work was complete form technical point of view.

Our input was focused on business analysis. Neontri recommended technologies, software and server architecture. Prepared applications, integration, network connections. It was full implementation project from a scratch.

1 Project manager, 4 developers, 1 DevOps, 2 network / infrastructure specialists.

12 integrations over 2 years - scaleable business, thousands of transactions.

Standard sprint approach, supported with tools like Trello, Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Understanding, relationship and contact with developers. They really have the ability to translate complex technical issues to business understandable level.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not in my opinion.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I work as a project manager in a company, which focuses on digital products for banking, administration, economy and plays a crucial role as a ACH for the polish payment sector.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Neontri?

We’re looking for a company with experience on mobile projects to prepare an external authorization tool which can be used in e-signature solutions. We needed someone, who can deliver security framework and mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms.

We’ve started with few basic services concerning user authentication and authorization of operations. Then we decided to prepare more brilliant things.

What were your goals for this project?

We’d some business goals and some of them cannot be described here, but we started the proces of builing new technology stock to develop in the future, and wanted to use it in e-Identity solutions.

SOLUTION

How did you select Neontri?

They had a security framework, which we found very interesing. Then few PowerPoints later, we started challenging our needs, what Neontri can offer and which products are available on the market. They started analysis and delivering products on time.

Describe the project in detail.

We started with business analysis, then Neontri prepared backend services and mobile apps for testing. We have a lot of PKI infrastructure, so after first phase we started to integrate Neontri’s platform with our services.

We also have spent a lot of time on UI projects. When the project was ready to launch and we finished e-signature Portal, they supported us in formal issues regarding to audit process.

What was the team composition?

There was 1 PM, 1 analyst, 1 QA, 2 backend developers and 2 mobile developers, which were supported by few more people behind the scenes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have more than 7100 instalations of our mobile apps on Android and iOS. The mobile application is used as a basic tool to authenticate customers on our e-Signature Portal.

If our clients want to make an electronic signature and sign documents, they use the application to authorize opertions and confirm them on mobile devices. In this year we’ve prepared a new service, which allows to sign documents directly from smartphone or tablet.

It is very easy and usefull tool, if someone want to sign document quickly and have our QES certificate. Nowadays we’re working on new features for diabled people.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There is a great partnership, and both sides work together on the project. It is very important that Neontri as a small fintech very good understand our limited posibilities, which have hudge impact on the project and sometimes additional work needs to be done.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

1. Competence – they have experienced developers with high personal skills.

2. Good understanding of our needs, so we don’t have to waste time on convincing each other and can focus on dealing with problems

3. Flexibility.

Of course, but I won’t write them here.
