Are there any areas for improvement or something Neon Apps could have done differently?

Overall, we were highly satisfied with Neon Apps' work and collaboration.
If there is one area for improvement, it would be accelerating the UI design process.
While the final designs were high quality and aligned with our vision, a slightly faster iteration cycle during the UI/UX phase could have helped us move into development even earlier.
That said, they were always open to feedback and consistently delivered creative and well-structured solutions once the designs were finalized.

I needed help developing my own mobile application.

Neon Apps has designed and developed an iOS app from scratch and helped me maintain it. I've provided my proposal, and the team has been responsible for the app's development and UX design using Figma. After launching the app, Neon Apps has added new features and fixed bugs.

I've worked with Neon Apps' owners Tyler and Destan. I currently work with three teammates: Zeynep, a product owner, and a developer.

We started working together in August 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’ve seen good results from the app. I’ve even received an offer to sell it for a higher price than what I paid. However, I want to keep it because it has more potential. I want to work with Neon Apps to polish the app and move forward. Regarding market revenue, it could be better; however, Neon Apps doesn't work on our app's visibility. The app is still basic, which is good at the beginning, but it needs to be polished.

How did Neon Apps perform from a project management standpoint?

Neon Apps' project management is excellent. The team is super responsive and helpful, and I haven't had any issues with them. Sometimes, Neon Apps needs more time to deliver, but I don't have any worries about it.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Zeynep joined the project 2–3 months ago, and it’s been beneficial. We've had an issue with communication before. When I developed some feedback for the product, we had to wait 5–10 weeks for Neon Apps to respond. However, since Zeynep joined the project, communication has become easier.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Neon Apps is very responsible and friendly. The team is also very handy and ready to solve all our issues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At the beginning of the development, I had several waves of comments, and Neon Apps couldn't solve all of them, which was frustrating. The team could also hire a freelancer to solve the issues I have with my app. We've also experienced some problems with web design within the app that Neon Apps couldn't address since they don't have a web engineer on their team.

They even assigned additional developers to complete the project faster just as a favor, without asking additional payment for it.

The team working Slack for communication, I can reach all of the developers, designers, testers, project managers from Slack channel whenever I want.
