Design and code a VR medical training application for the Quest 2 in order to prepare a virtual syringe with a medical compound and deliver it by injecting a virtual body at various sites around the body with realistic soft-body dynamics. The training app is driven by a procedural animation steps using voice-over, animated UI prompts, periodic highlighting of 3D model elements, and some automated IK body animations.

The training system began with two test headset devices, which was expanded later to multiple headsets for the pharmaceutical marketing department for use at live events and to use for live demonstrations at medical clinics in the UK.

Nekologic were pushed to produce progressive demonstration platforms very quickly as the project progressed. They delivered all testing punctually and to a very high functioning standard every time. Each time we introduced late changes they responded magnicificently to adopt and integrate those changes into the application. Where they had been given insufficient detail they adapted themselves to create excellent processes to fit each task extremely well.

The attention to detail and enterprising / inteligent systems used to fulfil the programming requirement are outstanding. This is a company that loves what they do and who strives to understand their client's requirements, producing robust, fully-featured applications with rock-solid support throughout.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Nekologic could have done differently?

Nekologic have worked on a dozen or more application projects of ours over the last 10 years and as the producer/director overseeing those projects I can honestly say they have always delivered impeccably every time. We have never been left wanting or underwhelmed by what they have produced.
