BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the COO of Mitty. We offer one application that has many applications within it for both travelers and locals. If a user chooses a city, such as London for example, they can see different services that are offered, like food delivery. This saves users time and space on their phone and allows them to easily access many applications. There is no need to search for local applications in a specific city.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Nambasoft?

I needed someone to develop our travel tech application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built the application for iOS, and they also built our landing page. They took care of the UI and UX design as well.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three or four people from their team including the CTO and three developers, one of who was more of a senior developer and advised the others.

How did you come to work with Nambasoft?

We looked at a few companies and researched their projects. I was at a conference in Estonia and met a representative from Nambasoft who told me about their company. I was considering three companies, but we chose Nambasoft because they matched our timeline and understood our business requirements. They clearly saw what we needed. They were fast in getting back to us and created a timeline, budget, and resource plan. They developed all the criteria from their side.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January until March 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everyone loves the design. We haven’t launched it fully yet, but after the first smaller launch, we had 7,000 organic downloads, which I think is really great. People are still using the application, and we’re looking for funding to expand it.

How did Nambasoft perform from a project management standpoint?

I have no technical experience, but their communication was great. They explained all the technical aspects to me, so I understood them. We communicated over Slack. They also used GitHub. I was concerned about timing, but they handled it well and were very flexible.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their flexibility and high-quality delivery have been the most impressive. I couldn’t grasp certain points as a non-technical person, but they always explained why they were doing something, how they were doing it, and how long it would take. We were on a short time frame, and they took care of the project within three months. They excel at delivering from a technical perspective and a client engagement perspective. We’ve had great feedback on the app.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not that I saw. I had a positive experience with them. They delivered the product I was looking for.
