n8n Lab partnered with UNLMTD Digital to design and implement a custom automation layer using n8n, tailored specifically to the operational needs of a digital agency.

The scope of work started with a detailed analysis of our internal processes, client lifecycle, and tool stack. Based on that assessment, n8n Lab identified high-impact automation opportunities and translated them into scalable, production-ready workflows.

What impressed us most about n8n Lab was their deep understanding of digital agency operations combined with strong technical n8n expertise. They don’t just build automations. They understand why certain processes exist in agencies and how to redesign them for scale.

Unlike typical automation providers, n8n Lab approached the project from a business and operations perspective first, then translated that into clean, reliable n8n workflows. Their ability to think in terms of client lifecycles, delivery handoffs, reporting cycles, and internal accountability made the automations immediately usable and impactful.

Are there any areas for improvement or something n8n Lab could have done differently?

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be having even more pre-built, agency-specific automation templates available upfront for common use cases like onboarding, reporting, and CRM workflows.

While the custom solutions n8n Lab built for us were excellent and well thought out, a larger library of ready-to-deploy agency patterns could make the initial setup phase even faster for teams just getting started with automation.
