What challenge were you trying to address with MyMarketingPass?

I wanted to increase my reach and visibility but needed help with website development and graphic design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I utilized MyMarketingPass for various marketing tasks within their membership tiers. I submitted requests through their ticketing system, and they helped redesign my website and maintain my social media presence. 

For the website redesign, we reviewed my existing website and discussed my goals for the new one. They listened to my input and implemented some of their design and UX ideas, which I encouraged. They used WordPress and other plug-ins to build the final website. 

For social media support, my virtual assistant would submit information to MyMarketingPass via their templates. We submitted anything from quotes to images, videos, and questions, which the team turned into well-written posts for Facebook and Instagram. Once they converted the templates into posts, they also scheduled them.

I worked with three team members directly, including a project manager, a writer, and the owner. There were also graphic designers working behind the scenes. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2019–October 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I don’t have specific numbers, but we saw increased website visits and leads coming in from Google. My Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn following have grown since working with them. Moreover, I’ve received positive feedback from people who’ve seen the posts they created. 

How did MyMarketingPass perform from a project management standpoint?

Our project manager effectively liaised between MyMarketingPass and me to ensure our tickets were completed on time. We met 1–2 times a week, depending on how many things were going on at once. I also met with the owner for coaching sessions. 

Overall, I was satisfied with the responsiveness of the team. I always felt comfortable sharing feedback because they iterated until I was satisfied with the result. We communicated via email and text message. In terms of budget, I just paid my monthly fee; I never had to pay additional costs. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was very pleased with the timeliness of our project manager. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

MyMarketingPass could improve by automating their ticket status dashboard to send weekly updates via email.

I’m the founder of Reclamation Collaborative, a coaching and training company that serves people in the construction industry, focusing on work-life balance, stress management, communication, and overcoming feelings of imposter syndrome.

What challenge were you trying to address with MyMarketingPass?

As an engineer, I’ve run engineering businesses, but I’ve never been involved in the day-to-day marketing aspect of businesses. Therefore, I decided to bring a team with that expertise to work with me as I grow my business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

MyMarketingPass provides me with comprehensive marketing services, including social media marketing (SMM), digital marketing, email marketing, SEO, website management, and content creation. For the content creation portion, their team is in charge of my social media content, infographics design, copywriting, video production, audio editing, and graphic design, among other things.

As for the SMM services, MyMarketingPass supports my Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts. Most of my clients come through LinkedIn, so that’s the main social media platform we use. As for email marketing, their team creates email templates, writes the copy and headers, and sets up the email automation needed to run the marketing campaigns.

Regarding their SEO services, MyMarketingPass offers several SEO service levels. For the one I pay, they collaborate with us to create the content — it’s a joint effort. For example, they’ve taken things I’ve written for social media and turned them into blog posts and articles.

MyMarketingPass’ website management services include design, development, and content creation. For example, they’ve made structural changes to my WordPress site to make it more visually pleasing. Moreover, they’ve added a video element and created a couple of landing pages for my programs.

The video element appears on top of the website and shows people who work in construction. It lasts 20–30 seconds. Currently, MyMarketingPass is working on another one-and-a-half-minute animated video that explains why alignment is important in people’s lives.

In addition to that, MyMarketingPass has helped me redesign my logo. I already had a logo someone else had developed. Although I liked that logo, I was curious to see if there were other options we could come up with. Thus, I provided MyMarketingPass with my current logo, what it stood for, and why it had been developed the way it was. From there, they designed several options, and we eventually settled on the one that got developed further.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked closely with MyMarketingPass’ founder, although I’ve also met an operations person and an automation expert.

How did you come to work with MyMarketingPass?

I met with their founder over a Zoom call, and he walked me through the services they offered and what their different service packages looked like. That meeting helped me realize that what they provided was what I needed.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent close to $25,000–$30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around mid-2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

MyMarketingPass’ marketing efforts have helped me increase leads and conversions, as well as double my revenue every year. Additionally, their work has had a big impact on how our website looks like. Thanks to them, it is now more visually pleasing.

How did MyMarketingPass perform from a project management standpoint?

MyMarketingPass does a great job of communicating and meeting deadlines. Budget management is not a big factor because we pay them a monthly membership fee, so their services are unlimited within that membership. They use their own management system, through which we communicate and submit tickets. Additionally, they provide us with one-on-one coaching sessions with their coaches via Zoom when working on specific projects.

What did you find most impressive about them?

MyMarketingPass’ variety of offers for a fixed cost is one of my favorite parts of working with them. Additionally, their creativity is great. Everything they create is visually pleasing, and their content is usually spot-on.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As a small business owner, there are some things that I don’t know, so I don’t know which service tickets to submit. Their business model is more reliant on me than I would like, but I get how it works, and they’ve helped me develop some things to help me with that.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be ready to invest time and energy into the project. MyMarketingPass will do a lot of work for you, but you also need to be invested, or else it won’t work out. Still, if you put in the effort needed, great things will happen.

Every project they’ve done for us has been above and beyond my expectations, and I’m very picky. Their work is excellent every single time.

We don’t have a set budget, but their price is the best deal out there. I don’t think anyone could beat their value — it's a steal.

The fact that MyMarketingPass can step in in a pinch if I need extra help in an area we lack expertise is invaluable as a business owner. They’re the best resource I could ask for; they take so much off my plate.
