 We needed help with website projects that required development. We have in-house designers but no development resources. We've had projects where our agency's creative team did the design, and More Seconds' team worked with us on dev. We've also had instances where we used More Seconds for design as well, to ensure seamless dev implementation.

We hired More Seconds to evaluate our current custom WordPress site with the endgoal of taking over future development of the site, in addition to building a landing page for a marketing campaign.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Communication for us was HUGE — we were transitioning from our original developer who often would not communicate his work progress and things often fell through the cracks. So Brian's frequent, detailed project updates were very appreciated. Beyond evaluating the current site for future development, More Seconds built us a landing page for our NOT FOR SALE campaign. They built it to spec and took feedback in stride to ensure we ended up with an end product we are happy with.

Yes, they were very communicative about how long the project would take — and they adapted to changes in our plans (for example, our designer for the site ran out of time and so we asked More Seconds to design the page — and they took that on in addition to coding it).

Ultimately, they provided a visually pleasing, performant web application. We used a Scrum/Agile process with a two-week sprint, and multiple scheduled check-in meetings in each sprint, concluding with a presentation meeting where More Seconds engineers demonstrated what was accomplished.

More Seconds was hired after a website migration to a custom site left us needing a lot of help to fix bugs, investigate problems, update and write new code, and other front-end and back-end jobs as they came up. They were also hired for on-going web maintenance and creation of new project ideas.

More Seconds was contracted on numerous occassions over the past 5 years. The most recent project was extensive website customization and development including responsive design, custom css, jquery, server-side configuration, migration issues, wordpress import & export, customization of wordpress plugins. Layout and responsive design troubleshooting was accomplished for video background, web menu functionality and header/footer design. Complex website plugin customization was completed for portfolio gallery plugin, testimonials plugin, including database migration, filtering and pagination. The project included SEO optimization and overall performance and speed testing.

Accomplished all objectives with respect to import and migration of all data, customization and troubleshooting of wordpress plugins and scripts. More Seconds was instrumental in completing all assignments in order to meet agreed-upon budget and timelines.
