I'm a Digital Marketing and Content Specialist for a nutraceutical company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Moonbow Studio, and what were your goals?

Create a creative and clever 2D animation series to illustrate and educate on the health benefits of our raw materials.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We launched a contest where we paid 5 companies to create a 20 second animation illustrating our products key benefits. Moonbow were clearly a step ahead both in animation quality and storytelling. We were especially impressed by their clever use of transitions and the extra polish they put on texture and depth in the animation.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We create a 90 second animation per key message. First we write a script/voiceover, which Moonbow use to create a storyboard. The storyboard process goes back and forth with revisions and validation by the team, until we lock it. At this point Moonbow use the voiceover to time the animation, and spend some time on the animation. Once the animation has been approved it goes to sound design, before final approval and delivery of files.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I've worked with Tommy, Patricia and Lorenzo. The feedback process has been incredibly smooth and well managed. They always send out regular samples of the work, before we meet at scheduled times to review together. They listen intently to our feedback and revise their work quickly and precisely.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the completion of the first video we've been approached by several customers who wish to have exclusive right to the animations for use in their sales channels. The project has struck a great balance between educational and scientific value, and visual style and storytelling, and will provide incredible value to our customers, and in turn us.

We were assigned a producer at the beginning who has been very responsive and hands on. The project has mainly been managed between the animator and me, but the producer is always there to take notes and follow up on the progress between check-ins. The communication has mainly been via email and our preferred meeting software.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their dedication to getting the animation and storytelling style right as well as their creative flair impressed us. Our project required a very particular execution, and they've delivered above and beyond.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not as far as I'm concerned.

We were really happy with the mold-ability of Lorenzo and the team to meet the expectations of our video even if that meant going back to the storyboard of our project and restructure the entire creative.

I am a digital marketing and technology expert for an online therapy service and nonprofit organisation.

For what projects/services did your company hire Moonbow Studio, and what were your goals?

As we launch our new online therapy platform, we contacted Moonbow to create a launch video for our website and social media that would increase awareness of our brand and engage new and prospective customers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We reviewed agencies and were instantly impressed with the work that Moonbow showed us, they seemed to understand our brand and it was a nice solution for us to work with a smaller team as it was more personable.

We arranged some meetings to talk about our ideas and expectations, getting to the core of what it was that we wanted to achieve and who we wanted to aim our video at. Moonbow then sent us concepts and clips as well as visuals that were created with our brand assets in mind. They created new assets for us and characters.

We went through feedback periods and they took everything on board positively and adapted until we had the styles and brand that reflected our initial vision. They provided the voiceover and music for the final video. Moonbow also cut the video in to social assets and shorter versions as well as resizing them for us for different platforms.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked closely with Lorenzo and Tommy and it was very easy to contact them. We arranged video calls and chatted through any feedback we had. They then went and made the changes until we had a great finished product.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video was extremely well received by our stakeholders. At the time of writing, we have slowly started to promote the videos as we have been saving the video for a bigger launch. We feel that the videos will be well received by our target audience and look forward to seeing results from this. The video ideally also acts as an 'explainer' so this will also sit on our website and be included in introductory emails for prospective customers.

We liaised mostly via video calls as we have been home working and Moonbow run out of Europe. This was easy and seamless for us. We were constantly updated with any changes and we knew when to expect delivery of different aspects of the final video.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think for us, the style of animation was what caught our attention and why we progressed with Moonbow. They brought a unique style to video animation that we hadn't seem much in others. They were able to use characters we had created previously, and develop new characters to match our story and vision for the video.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For us, with a new brand, we had little in the way of assets, and I think that actually they did a great job with our brand even though it is in the early stages. Possibly at a stretch, we may have had a different vision in terms of video landscapes as they were initially not very typically 'British' but after speaking with them and showing some examples, they were quick to change and adapt this for us.
