They have been in charge of producing movies for our portfolio companies as well as the headshots and B-roll we use on our website. Our most recent endeavor together is a fund-raising initiative; Moodive's crew is filming interviews and creating video content. The service provider has handled every part of the project, including doing remote interviews, and the video is primarily aimed at our investor audience. 
Additionally, we are producing a couple of video openings for our yearly general meeting.

I am the owner of a small full-service advertising agency. We work with many clients, including non-profits.

We hired Moodive Studio to create two collage-style animation videos for a client. The project was focused on educating high school students on the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation and the role it plays in Alaska. We wanted to find a way to make the complex information more accessible to students.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked at a lot of different vendors, in many price ranges and at several skill levels. We chose Moodive because they had the skills we needed for a fully custom project at a budget that worked for us. We were impressed with their past samples and the ideas they brought to the table during our selection process.

The process with Moodive was amazing, any delays came from our end, trying to get a committee of folks to agree on the final vision. We provided the scripts and worked through an outline of visual concepts with the Moodive team.

From there we moved into basic sketches of the visuals and approved an overall look/color schemes to be used. Finally, we got the final storyboards and once approved the final animation. The team was very patient as we made changes, and then walked some back through the process.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Tomas was great to work with. He was communicative and replied quickly when I reached out for updates. He would often check in when he hadn't heard from me in a while (due to committee delays).

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have not launched the project yet, however, through a small focus group, we have learned that our final videos are much more accessible to a teen audience than the original source materials.

Everything was done over email, which is great for me. We had a clear timeline from the onset, that our approval process/team derailed. The Moodive team did everything they promised within the timeframes they originally outlined.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I loved their ability to adjust, when we needed to make changes. I also found their creativity quite refreshing and the collage animation style is unique and has a strong appeal and they have mastered it.

I don't think so.

We wanted to explain certification, its benefits and the process of certification in an easy, short and understandable way to motivate more producers to let their product certify repairably.

We looked for video company productions with high quality outputs, that can help us within our deadline (part of the project) and in our budget range. Moodive meet all the requirements.

We started with e-mail and phone communication. We had an on-line meeting, we agreed on the requirements. We sent the documents - to help them understand our mission. We wrote the script. They created storyboard - we comented it. They handled the vioceover (we chose the right vioce from the selection). Then we chose also the music form the selection. They put it all together - with our comments. And afterwards we asked them for subtitles.

We worked with Tomáš and Valentína. Both very professional, helpful with fast response.

We do not have any metrics now. We posted the video on our social media and youtube.

I wish we could have one or two more on-line meetings to storyboard, because it is sometimes easier to tell and brainstorm the ideas in real time, then to write the comments.

I selected this vendor based on their previous work and the cost value, which is very important as a start up.

I sent a script to Moodive of what I wanted the commercial to be. They sent some visual ideas for me to chose from. Then they created a story board, once that was approved, they asked me to chose a voice over actor, and they started making the animation. They checked in with me at every stage and allowed me to make changes. Everything turned out great and they were very professional and an overall talented team.

I worked with TOMÁŠ KOPTÁK directly and he handled all of the feedback process. He was responsive and I didn't have a lot of changes that were needed.

The video has been very important for me in selling my app and easily explaining the concept.

We wanted to work with a very specialized Motion Design agency as we really like this type of services. We have basic skills in that field and we needed a strong result for that.

The communication with the seller was great and we really liked their portfolio, that's why we selected this vendor.

We started with a discovery meeting. They really helped us understand the needs of the project. They were very flexible regarding our needs as we've already started working on some stages of the project. So they didn't start with a blank image. They sorted things out to astonished what we've done before.

There was a second meeting to explain what has to be change and after that, everything ran smoothly until the end.

I worked with the general manager of the agency, he was really kind and smart. It was great to talk with him and he made sure that the project would be well-made.

As for now, our client is really happy about the results. They asked for a few little changes that has been made with no problems, it was clear and solid. Everything happened as expected, everybody is good with this result.

They are using good tools for the different stages of the process. The communication ran very smoothly too. I have nothing bad to tell about all this.

What is impressive about this company is the great communication, the good estimations of the due dates and the quality of the final product.

I think they really managed everything well. I don't have anything negative to say about this experience.

This animation is for an oil company that has an oil field in the ocean. This animation will be shown to the workers going to the oil field as instructions to avoid heat stress.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We saw Moodive's account on Fiverr and really liked their work, and thought they would be suitable to work on this project with us.

The project is an animation titled “heat stress prevention”. This is basically a video of instructions given to workers on the helicopter while they going to the oil field. The target audience -the workers- are either non-English speakers or English is their second language. We had little onscreen text + VO throughout the animation.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Thomas and his team at Moodive Studio did the work. We gave them feedback from the client's side and he implemented them easily and with no confusion. The overall process went very smoothly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We as an agency and the client really liked the work. The animation will be sent out within the month and shared throughout the company. Many offshore workers will benefit from this video and as the client said it might also "save lives".

We used Fiverr for communication. Their replies were always on time. And they did not take long to apply the feedback we provided -always within the timeline provided.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The style of movement of the entire animation, the smooth transitions between every frame, the perfect timing of all the elements, the timeframe in which they were able to achieve this work.

Nothing comes to mind! We really enjoyed working with them and look forward to collaborating again in the near future.

We reviewed multiple vendors/offers available on various platforms. The quality, value and speed were a deciding factor for Moodive Studio.

We started with a discovery meeting. A script was provided to Moodive Studio, after which they worked on a storyboard, a style frame, the voice over and then the animation.

We worked with the CEO/founder of Moodive Studio directly. Following each milestone, updates were provided via email. This included links to a scene/shot overview, a storyboard, style frames, voice-over and initial animations. Feedback was delivered via email as well, or through the respective platforms used to provide the milestones.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Not available yet. The video will be published shortly, but we have not had any feedback yet. Nevertheless, we're very happy with the result and quality of the work.

Mareena is a civic organization assisting refugees and foreigners in their integration into society. We run community events, educational programmes, volunteer community and awareness-raising activities. I am responsible for project management, methodic support and research.

For what projects/services did your company hire Moodive Studio, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop a video explainer for the community involvement methodology we developed with our partners in one of our international projects. We aimed for a concise, attractive video, which could explain our approach and motivate the audience to check further project materials and become active. At the same time, we needed to do DTP for the text of the project Handbook, which had to match the video design.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for video production companies and after reviewing the offers, we decided for Moodive. The main deciding factors were their responsiveness, helpfulness, interest, nice communication, professional approach, acceptable timeline and price which considered our position as nonprofit. I also liked that we were offered various options (levels) of video production at the very beginning.

Initially, we developed the script for the video and the main illustrations. Then we worked on storyborading and matching the right visualisations for the video with the text. Simultaneously, we worked on inserting the illustrations into the Handbook.

We worked with the CEO, and the account manager. Thanks to frequent email communication we could regularly give feedback and and progress with the production.

The video or the handbook will be presented at a public event next week, so unfortunately no feedback so far. But among the project partners, both products were received very well!

I need to acknowledge that both the CEO and the account manager communicated very promptly and were flexible to our needs (communicating with multiple people across countries, in various languages) - this was very unique. We communicated via phone, video calls, and emails. They were very helpful and willing to adapt to our needs during the entire process.

Openness, flexibility, adaptability, professional, and kind approach.

Not really. I hope we can cooperate in the future.
