The engagement focused on strengthenin the website's technical foundation while optimizing key on-page and experiential elements to support discoverability, performance and conversions.

A more intuitive, user-friendy experience leading to higher engagement and improved conversion potential. Overall, a cohesive digital ecosystem built for long-term performance, scalability and continuous improvement. These outcomes increased our traffic to our website by 41% in less than a year.

Monarq supports Poetry In Voice with ongoing website maintenance and improvements. Monarq developed a custom judging system that allows schools to submit student performances for online poetry competition, with judges scoring entries through custom forms and the platform compiling ranked results. Monarq also recently expanded the platform to support live contests, making it easier to judge participants in real time and digitalized the process to run events more efficiently. We collaborate closely with their team to address development needs, add new features, and ensure long-term site stability.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. On-time delivery of updates and improvementsMonarq completed all maintenance tasks, security updates, and feature enhancements within agreed timelines.
2. Improved site performance and stability
   Monarq optimized key elements of the site and made targeted technical improvements that kept performance high, reduced issues, and improved load times.
3. Stronger security and up-to-date software
   Monarq systematically updates Drupal core and contributed modules to their latest security update to keep the site secure and up to date.
4. Developed a custom judging system for nationwide participation
   Monarq developed a successful judging system that allows schools across Canada to compete by submitting student performances to online poetry competitions. Judges can evaluate entries using custom grading forms, and the platform automatically compiles results to rank participants and select winners.
5. Expanded the platform to support live contests
   Monarq developed and deployed a new functionality that allows Poetry In Voice to host live contests directly on the site. This made it easier to judge participants in real time and digitalized the process to run events more efficiently.
6. Faster turnaround for content and feature requests. Monarq’s close communication with the Poetry In Voice team, combined with their agile approach, allows them to roll out content updates and new features quickly and efficiently.
