I’m the association head of MOKSOP, a photography museum that’s focused on preserving, collecting, archiving, and digitizing photos.

What challenge were you trying to address with Molto Bureau?

We needed someone to develop the visual identity of our museum.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Molto Bureau provided us with branding and delivered a complete visual identity guideline which includes various styles for books, tickets, and building layout.

We initially gave them documentation and interesting visual symbols which they took to come up with ideas we can choose from.

We’re still working together by having them do smaller tasks such as designing marketing collateral.

My main point of contact is Andriy (Founder & Design Director).

How did you come to work with Molto Bureau?

They were referred to us by the architectural studio that was working on our building.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve invested $8,200.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in December 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

While we don’t have any quantitative data, Molto Bureau is able to successfully deliver a fully-functioning platform.

How did Molto Bureau perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re very satisfied with Molto Bureau’s project management because it’s very uncomplicated. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with how they’re able to create a visual identity based on my single vision — we liked that they implemented the museum's historical background into our brand’s aesthetics.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They provided us with great solutions that met our expectations, so I can’t think of anything they could improve on.

To get the most out of the engagement with Molt Bureau, come up with story ideas you can implement into your brand before scoping the project with them.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work in operations and finance for Granvik Shipping S.A. The company is based in Switzerland, and we deal with shipping and cargo transportation. We own floating crates to ship the cargo from small vessels to bigger vessels.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Molto Bureau?

We wanted to create a local company and its identity guidelines. We didn’t have anything at the moment, and we worked on a small, closed market where everybody knew each other, and there were almost no new clients. Therefore, we wanted to create something different from our competitors.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Molto Bureau worked on our logo and branding. We initially gave them all the information on the business, what we deal with, how we work, and more. Once they had a complete understanding of our company and the brief of what we’d like to see, they prepared some ideas for us. They showed us some drafts, and we chose some of them. Later, we came to one.

The idea for the logo was that pelicans carry food through their beak and carry it from place to place, like our cranes. Then, Molto Bureau created all our branding materials, including envelopes, business cards, and so on.

What is the team composition?

We’ve only worked with Andriy (Design Director & Founder).

How did you come to work with Molto Bureau?

I knew the CEO before. When we understood that we’d like to have a logo and brand identity, we asked him. The money and timing were the best at the moment, so we picked Molto Bureau.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $5,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2015, and our relationship is ongoing. We don’t have much work anymore, both sometimes they make brochures, calendars, or stuff like that for our clients.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m happy with their work. When we try to get new clients, we show them our videos and Molto Bureau’s work. It might not mean that we’ll get the client, but it wouldn’t be as good without it; it makes us look professional.

How did Molto Bureau perform from a project management standpoint?

They were easygoing, communicative, and helpful during development. We kept delaying the project because it took us three weeks to decide, so they stopped sending us reminders. However, it was easy for us to understand each other.

In 2015, we communicated over emails, phone, and Skype. Now, we use emails, Messenger, and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re really flexible in their work. They’re not a big company with a lot of structure on different levels, and they’re flexible with us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t know. They have their own vision, and they should stick to it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If we’d developed the logo just this year, I’d recommend people to come to them and tell them what they want. They’ll receive even more than what they’ve asked for.

Molto Bureau has designed our logo and created our brand book, which includes our color palette, social media design, and tags. The team has also designed prints for clothes.

We found Molto Bureau on Clutch and chose them because they were a great culture fit and their company values aligned with ours.

The latest designs are made in one style, which is unique. Shows the naturalness of products. The latest designs have helped Molokia get closer to brand number 5

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Designer and project manager were easy to communicate. Everything was delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were patient in making adjustments,. their design is unique and in line with the company's strategy.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Some projects could be done faster, but quality is more important than speed, and we got a great product. In general - very satisfied with the work
