What challenge were you trying to address with Modern Launch?

We needed a custom software solution because our legacy systems were becoming obsolete.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Modern Launch designed and developed a custom ERP software for us. We initially met with a project manager to explain our business, what we were looking for, and the problems we wanted to solve. We discussed wireframes and the software's interface and functionality.

From there, Modern Launch built the software piece by piece. The software had three phases: an order phase, a manufacturing phase, and a queue phase. Modern Launch designed a quoting platform for us to quote and store our pricing for our customers. The team also added functionality to convert that quote into a sales order. From there, we decided what we would manufacture, which went to a different database. We also had an inventory platform.

We worked with a project manager and 3–4 backend and frontend developers.

We found them through a Google search. We had a few Zoom meetings with other development companies, and Modern Launch was the most professional and put together.

We spent $50,000.

We worked together from October 2024–May 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We went live 2–3 weeks ago. We saw increased productivity, visibility, and accountability. We work in a business where we manufacture and deliver weekly, and we cut our turnaround time down by a few days. Overall, Modern Launch’s work exceeded our expectations.

How did Modern Launch perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered work on time and within budget. We met with the project manager weekly for 4–6 months. We used Trello as our project management tool, which was extremely helpful and transparent. We also used Google Meet and Google Docs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Modern Launch’s communication was impressive. They helped me understand what I needed to think about regarding functionality. They were reliable.

We have other systems built on an obsolete software platform that we plan on redeveloping, and we'll certainly use Modern Launch moving forward. We didn’t see any red flags, and everything went smoothly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything they could improve on.

Reciprocate the communication and participate in the weekly meetings, particularly early in the project.

The mobile app engineers played a crucial role in transforming your initial vision into a fully functional educational app for kids. Their process likely involved:

The most significant measurable outcome of the project was the successful transformation of my initial idea into a fully functioning, user-friendly educational app for kids on the iPad iOS platform. The app seamlessly integrates interactive features and creative tools, reflecting the vision I had from the start. Key milestones, such as the completion of design templates, iterative feature enhancements based on feedback, and final deployment, showcase clear progress and success. With a stable and engaging product now live, the app is well-positioned for future expansion to iPhone and other tablet devices, marking a major achievement in the development journey.

Cody and the team at Modern Launch were instrumental in bringing my vision for a children's app to life. From our very first meeting, they provided thoughtful guidance and presented me with clear options for moving forward with development. We hired Modern Launch to help deliver on a mobile application project. We needed a quality software development team to deliver a complex application with a tight turnaround time.

Modern Launch was extremely detailed in the estimation process. They helped prioritize and define the scope of work. This helped lay out a realistic budget and timeline to deliver on our goals. Their communication skills and professionalism helped solidify them as the perfect candidate for the job.

It is a user base application that handled several complex integrations. It was built in a cross platform language called react native. The project was broken down into four milestones to ensure progress and benchmarks where being hit throughout the project.

We work directly with Cody Benedetto and Ryan Serkes, who were phenomenal throughout the entire process. They managed managing the design, development, and QA testing to bring the application to life.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I am so happy to say that the project was delivered on timeline and on budget. We push the application live in the app stores and we are continuing maintenance and adding new features with Modern Launch.

Modern Launch is extremely transparent which is super helpful. I was able to view progress throughout the process and test updates along the way. This allowed me to give feedback to make sure the app matched my expectations.

I've felt that Modern Launch really cares about the success of my application. This led them to providing critical feedback to help move the project along. The hands-on service helped take the idea to live in the app stores.
