I’m the COO of two companies, one for traveling events and another for marketing. The travel events company is mainly targeted at college students; we help them plan their spring break and other big parties. The marketing company makes external sales for other companies. After their products are purchased, we help put people into lead funnels and do up sales.

I needed help with lead generation.

What was the scope of their involvement?

E-Commerce Affiliates has helped me on several projects by implementing different strategies, mainly focusing on lead generation. For example, they helped me with nurturing a website we had built, allowing me to put all my clients into a database and segment them. They’ve also helped me with SMS automation.

For one particular project, E-Commerce Affiliates helped us create an automated SMS tool for our Instagram ads, focusing on lead generation. When we post a spring break event on Instagram, we have a call-to-action for interested party-goers to send a message. Then, this tool automatically sends them back a form to fill out with their phone number. After that, the interested person gets put into an SMS text thread where they receive information about the spring break event coming up.

We hired Andrew with Mindset Marketing because we heard via word of mouth he was great at getting brand exposure through his marketing funnel. Growing awareness through engaging content on various platforms, building trust and asking for a CTA. This method he proposed seemed enticing, we gave it a go and generated 20k in sales first month using his strategy vs the old 5k a month.

We had a kickoff meeting, reviewed all necessary steps from building SEO to content generation to structed release of content. The funnel was seamlessly executed: build trust via content, initiate CTA.

Andrew and his assistant Kyle did a phenomenal job managing the campaign with constant increase in exposure while reducing our CPC.

Our site traffic was boosted 343% while orders increased 40%. A campaign well worthwhile.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It took about 90 days for our marketing efforts to gain traction, but we’ve since increased our lead funnel to 200%–300%.

How did Mindset Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re extremely reachable and helpful when it comes to fixing issues and answering our questions.

We usually do monthly meetings and communicate mostly through text and Instagram.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like how they provide value by teaching us how to catch attention and create content that resonates with the people. They’re very focused on driving knowledge and making us understand the whys and hows of their process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Throughout the partnership, there have been some team changes on their end. While I would prefer to have a consistent team, we understand that that’s not always predictable when it comes to running a business.

I would advise them to be more patient and listen to Mindset Marketing’s advice.

I’m the owner of a company that works with businesses to help them leverage their position online. We mainly provide online marketing services; our team builds marketing systems, lead capture and nurture processes, email follow-ups, and other marketing functions. We also do marketing backend automation within clients’ CRM systems.

We mainly used paid ads on Facebook and Google for lead generations. When we started getting more demand for lead generation services, we connected with Mindset to help us out. We essentially needed them to give us more firepower and a clearer marketing path.

We initially brought Andrew (CEO & Co-Founder) and Mindset for a consulting style role. They checked our accounts and helped us determine what we were doing right or wrong. Initially, they started getting acquainted with our clients to understand our goals and industries. Based on that audit, they created a marketing roadmap for us. 

We’ve continued working with Mindset to implement that roadmap. Their team has served as a helping hand with our client accounts. Their resources restructure our ads and budget, making sure that we’re getting the most bang for our buck on the frontend while generating leads.

I primarily work with Andrew, who’s hands-on with us on paid ads and consulting. He’s the mastermind that goes deeper into our accounts to see what needs to be changed.  I’ve worked with an account manager, but he’s no longer with the team.

I started my business right around the time Mindset started theirs. Then, I met Andrew at a marketing event in Chicago. The meeting was random, but we had a few mutual acquaintances that were mostly agency owners. We also lived relatively close to each other in Michigan, so we kept in touch. 

Andrew and I bounced ideas here and there with each other. After a couple of years, I met with him personally for lunch and decided that it would be smart to start a partnership for us to help our clients.

We started the partnership in January 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

My experience with Mindset has been positive. The most important thing they’ve done is move our KPIs in the right direction, specifically for the lead generation side of things. Moreover, they’ve given us clarity in terms of the playing field; we now know where we’re at and where we need to be. Beyond that, their hands-on help has been great for reducing costs and increasing conversion rates.

Overall, we’ve gotten more promising metrics across the board by working with Mindset. Everything we’re trying to reduce is going down, while our CTRs and traffic are going up. As a result, we’ve gained a highly positive experience from them. 

How did Mindset Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Mindset’s project management has been smooth. We haven’t had any standout instances where we’ve had to push anything back — they haven’t dropped the ball on us. Everything has been clear to understand; we have no complaints in this area. To communicate, we do almost everything on Zoom or phone calls and texts. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their level of transparency is impressive. In our industry, we’re not always sure whether someone is simply selling a good story or inflating numbers. With Mindset, we have the confidence that they set realistic expectations. 

They don’t sell us any pipe dream. Rather, their resources tell us disclaimers around things, showing us how long things will take to work. As a result, they ground our expectations. Simply put, they’re transparent and we trust them. They’re truly hands-on with the things that they recommend.

No, there aren’t any. We haven’t had any issues with them.

Acquire some form of consulting or auditing services from Mindset before jumping straight into the partnership. A consultative approach will help them give you the best advice before executing any plan. That way, you can hear different options. You’ll also understand what you actually need; they’ll help clear that up.

They plot their deliverables, identify our target audience, and formulate strategies that can help elevate our digital presence across our social media platforms. Upon concluding this phase, they create our campaign materials, such as posters, videos, and other social media ads.

We’ve received great ROI through their work. Their team is very business-oriented and knows how to tackle every project I’m working on.

Their project management goes above and beyond my expectations. They have a solid team with a great business background and expertise to help us reach our goals. Regarding tools and communication, we use Zoom, text messages, phone calls, and emails.

They should hire more people to grow their business and free up their time; they’re so good, but I feel they’re falling behind in their workload. Other than that, there’s nothing they could improve on.

They’re very business-oriented and can help you achieve your goals as long as you’re upfront and honest with what you need. Moreover, allow them to take charge if the project requires it because they’re only trying to help you grow your business.
