In a decade of operation, TLR Group has become a “Full-range real estate solution provider” in the market with high-quality products, perfect services, bringing high values for our partners and customers, including: Real Estate Investment and Trading, Real Estate Consulting and Brokerage, Civil Works and Construction, Investment Consulting for Real Estate projects, Legal Consulting for Real Estate projects. I am the head of Sale department. I’m responsible for leading the sales department, overseeing activities of the junior and senior professionals and monitoring performance as a whole.

For what projects/services did your company hire MeU Solutions INC?

We were struggling to grow and realized that our scalability was decreasing. To change that, we needed a way to restructure our organization and overcome administrative challenges like cumbersome paperwork, a cumbersome working process between departments. So, we needed to systematically change and make more efficient the way we operated on a day-to-day basis. That included managing business finances, work order operations, manufacturing operations, and other top-to-bottom processes. Another challenge we faced was processing real-time sale data, and we need a system that can offer end-to-end real estate data entry and back office support, right from capturing data to entering it in the software helping realtors, real estate agents, property dealers, etc., in maintaining consistent, accurate and up-to-date data

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to speed up our business process and improve the flow of information in our big organization.

How did you select this vendor?

We conducted extensive research of potential partners, we contacted each company and narrowed down to 5 after received their initial pitch, and we chose MeU Solutions after a lengthy recruitment process. It’s based on the quality of their final proposal, their best-talented development team, a reasonable price.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

After the kick-off meeting, we had gone through a series of meeting to discuss the goals and objectives of our project. The team reviewed and implemented best practices and structural consulting based on our current and future business needs. Core components of this project were the ERP, Financial, and CRM implementations. We decided to divide the project into 4 main phases because our system has many parts: Procurement To Pay (P2P), Project Management System (PMS), Human Resource Management (HRM), Accounting Management (AM), Document Management System (DMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Performance Management and Training (PMT), Management Information System (MIS), Warehousing and Inventory Management, (Dynamic) Workflow Management System, Help Desk System.

What was the team composition?

They provided 1 Project Manager to support us and serve as primary point contact throughout the project. For the development team, in the beginning, they offered us 2 architect-developers, 4 senior developers, 6 junior developers, and 4 testers (both manual and automation testing). However, later on, our company demand adding more features to the designed system, MeU Solutions had to recruit two more developers to join the team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We’re still in the stage of implementation, but MeU Solutions has successfully delivered some significant components in the system in the first phase. We were delighted by how quickly and efficiently they completed those components, and they did everything we wanted. The app for the early stage was done well and delivered on time. It works perfectly. The software is now being used by several of our sibling companies, and our employees are quite satisfied with the software. I even have a thank you letter from one of them that the new system was their lifesaver, help them reduce the workload, doing tasks faster, reduce the mistakes, increase the performance so much. We’ll continue to work with them to build further features.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We’re not an IT company, but MeU Solutions' staff expertly guides us through each development process. Their team is brilliant, and they make a conscious effort to push projects forward. We mainly communicate using email and Skype. Project Management is done via Jira system. Our offices are close by, so we also met in person.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We initially thought they were on an expensive side but our opinion altered when we saw the kind of value which they bring. They have a collaborative attitude and a willingness to cover items outside of the initial scope. Their ability to deliver is outstanding, and that is a clear difference. The value which they bring and create is tremendous, and they were able to alter our traditional way of workings to become technology-relevant. They’re a problem-solving team that maintains quick communication.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We have been working together for a year, and I can’t identify anything they could’ve done better. I’ve learned that their pricing is fair considering the scope of work they cover and their expertise. They make things work correctly.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I collaborated with MeU Solutions a year ago, when I was a consultant for a startup asset management company. We were working on a system called BeeTrack, which helps families manage assets through an app.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with MeU Solutions?

We needed to measure the performance threshold of the system in order to address customer needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We gave them access to our staging server, and within two or three weeks, MeU assessed the staging environment based on the information we provided. They outputted a report around the threshold of the system, based on which we created a plan for upgrading the server configuration in order to meet customer requirements.

What is the team composition?

They provided a fixed price for the performance assessment, so I wasn’t concerned with how many members were assigned to the project. I interfaced with a single person via email, who provided all the necessary information.

How did you come to work with MeU Solutions?

My boss at the time had an existing relationship with them. I was only a consultant for the company, so I wasn't privy to the details.

How much have you invested with them?

We had a fixed-price contract of around $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together between March and April 2017. I've consulted with them about some technical issues since then, but we haven't had a chance to work together again yet.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

MeU was able to assess the threshold of the current system, based on which we came up with a plan for upgrading the environment and its configuration. Their reports were very useful.

They performed well. I wasn’t concerned with project management tools; I only cared about the output of their work. We mainly communicated via email, but they also called us at times to inquire about certain issues.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciated their approach to communication. Their weekly status reports went into detail about client and server memory levels. These were assessments that our team couldn’t perform at the time. I'll likely consult with MeU for any similar projects in the future.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have no comments about the performance of their team during this collaboration. It was a small project, and their output was good. Had they provided any functional or system tests, I would have more comments. At the time, we were only making early performance tests on one server with one database.

All 4 MeU members worked as Manual QC and in charge with beFood projects.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 3 months, MeU did a very good job and delivered a very good quality product. Not only in testing side, they also delivery good quality for testcases .

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the founder and CTO of an offshore team skilled in web and mobile game development. Our team of about 35 engineers has also successfully built large social projects.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to create an AI assistant tool for testers. The tool runs as a background service, monitoring tester behaviors and offering suggestions. We also needed a web portal to receive and store data for analytics purposes.

I know the founder from my time working in testing and development companies. We've partnered for several development projects.

We provided documentation and project requirements; they designed the backend, built the code, and developed the web portal and AI agents. The A.I system, which detects and parses HTML DOM objects, is the most complex part of the system. 

What was the team composition?

The team included one team leader, six developers, and three testers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The team finished the first phase in five months, and our sales team showed the project to potential customers. We have a lot more work to get this project to market, but finishing the first phase was a good milestone.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team followed an agile development methodology. They had quick daily meetings and gave weekly project updates. We used Zoho, Github, and Slack for project management. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their team leader was a problem solver, and their security testing skills were highly valuable.
