Processes simplified. Customer Portal set-up is suer-friendly to increase orders and sales.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Melonleaf has been excellent from a project management standpoint. They are organized, responsive, and consistently keep the project moving forward. Our customization is complex and there are often new requests or adjustments as we see different parts of the system come together, and their team has been extremely accommodating throughout the process. They listen carefully to our feedback and respond quickly when something needs to be changed. If we identify something during a meeting that isn’t working the way we envisioned, they will typically have it addressed or a solution in place by our next meeting. Deliverables have been handled in a timely manner, and communication has been consistent throughout the project. Most importantly, we feel like they genuinely listen to what our business needs rather than trying to force us into a standard Salesforce setup. They have been flexible, solutions-oriented, and very easy to work with.

What was your primary form of communication with Melonleaf Consulting?

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What has impressed us most is Melonleaf Consulting's ability to understand what we want the system to accomplish and then figure out how to make it happen. Early in the project, Lalit told us not to worry about how something could be built or whether it seemed complicated—our job was simply to explain what we wanted Salesforce to do, and their job was to find a way to make it work. That approach has really defined our experience with Melonleaf. Rather than limiting us to a standard setup, they listen to how our business actually operates and find solutions that fit our needs. Their combination of technical expertise, flexibility, and willingness to solve problems has been the most impressive part of working with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Melonleaf Consulting could have done differently?

At this point, we honestly don't have any significant areas for improvement to point to. With a project of this size and level of customization, there are naturally things that need to be adjusted or refined along the way, but what matters to us is how those situations are handled. The Melonleaf team has always been receptive to our feedback and quick to make changes when needed. That responsiveness has made the entire process very positive.

Exceptional Salesforce Partner for Merchant Processing Needs

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Melonleaf on our Salesforce buildout for our merchant processing company, and the experience has been nothing short of outstanding. After going through several other companies, we can confidently say that Melonleaf is by far the best Salesforce partner we've worked with, and we are keeping them on board, given the efficiency.

Their team quickly took over for our previous Salesforce admin's tasks and made an immediate impact. They implemented a custom ticketing system that functions similarly to Zendesk, vastly improving our internal processes. Additionally, their assistance with a variety of flows has greatly enhanced our workflow efficiency. The attention to detail is evident in every project, from providing detailed wireframes to consistently sticking to estimates.

Melonleaf's flexibility with our requests and their ability to deliver countless helpful tweaks—like enabling us to see if another user is already working on a case—have been invaluable in preventing duplicated efforts and boosting productivity. They have truly set the standard for what we expect in a Salesforce partner.

We highly recommend Melonleaf to anyone looking for top-notch Salesforce expertise.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The measurable outcomes from our project with Melonleaf include significant efficiency and enhancements in user satisfaction. Specifically:

Reduced Ticket Resolution Time: Since implementing the custom ticketing system, our ticket resolution time has decreased by approximately 20%, as the new workflow allows our support team to handle requests more effectively.

Improved Workflow Efficiency: Automating various processes and flows has led to a 30% reduction in manual tasks, allowing our team to focus on higher-value activities and serve clients faster.

Increased User Adoption and Satisfaction: The system improvements and user-friendly interface have resulted in a 25% increase in Salesforce adoption across our team, reflected in user feedback and engagement metrics.

Minimized Case Duplication: With the enhancements that prevent duplicated efforts on cases, we’ve completely eliminated multiple emails going out on the same case, leading to more efficient use of our resources.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They allow us to simply message them our requests. They are extremely organized and will ensure a discovery meeting is set, but only when needed. They always deliver each project on time. In fact, they are usually a few days early in their estimates.

What was your primary form of communication with Melonleaf Consulting?

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Melonleaf Consulting has a culture of excellence from the top down.   They like to learn about your industry, so they can better provide consultative guidance and not just be an outsourced dev company/Salesforce admin.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Melonleaf Consulting could have done differently?

Our industry is complex, but if I had to mention one thing, I'd say some products could have a tad more oversight by upper management before requesting a review by our internal staff.  It's not a big deal at all, and was only on a few projects, but it would make things even better than it already is.

How many teammates from Melonleaf Consulting were assigned to this project?

6-10 Employees

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We had to enhance the CRM capability to adhere to our unique operational style. The team was able to understand our business requirement very easily and was able to deliver each milestone with outstanding accuracy and agility.
Each member of the team that was involved in the projects, that are still actively ongoing as a part of our continued support and engagement model, clearly understands our requirements, is always available to support, and quickly responds to urgent changes, tweaks, and modifications as and when required.

From creating custom rules, managing the security policies, and creating cost-optimized modifications, user managment, groups, hierarchy settings, etc.. the team continuously demonstrated exceptional skill and understanding.

As a consultant, they always focus on getting us the best possible solution at the most effective price. This was very important for us, and they have constantly demonstrated the value of being focused on getting us the best experience and solution, not  just billing us for consultancy.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

2. time to value for modifications
3. Clear communications on project plan and successful milestone tracking on completion
4. End User feedback on increased efficiency while using the new developed features.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

First of all, they are always available. There has never been an instance where we needed their help to solve an issue or make a modification and the team was not available. They always respond to our requests. They have arranged for a very easy collaboration platform, outside the fact that we have direct access to their team and not just the project manager, that helps us to connect with them on other channels like Whatsapp for ad-hoc requests.
They are very accommodating and have never presented a roadblock or concern regarding any of our requests.

What was your primary form of communication with Melonleaf Consulting?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Reachability, techincal expertise and their eye for resolution. When we ask for a feature, they come back with a very elaborate explanation on how this can be achieved, multiple dependancies and how these dependancies might affect us from operations perspective, cost perspective and time to value perspective.
This helps us make very informed decisions on how we go about achieving what we need to achieve. This has also helped us numerous times to plan our internal policy on how the CRM needs to be used as well.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Melonleaf Consulting could have done differently?

Where we stand now, i have no areas i think i can suggest for them to improve on. They have demonstrated skills in various fields, from standard CRM customizations, to 3rd party integrations. So, i have no suggestions to make.

There isn’t anything I can think of. Incredible experience and highly recommend!

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of a real estate company that visits all the shopping centers in South Florida and looks to invest in them.

Our drivers go to the shopping centers, collect the data, and enter it into Salesforce for us. They do this twice a year; they also make calls and send emails to leasing agents and brokers to get updated rents on the properties. We update the database as well based on received emails, news stories, calls, and other sources.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Melonleaf Consulting?

I reached out to them to help me with Salesforce implementation. I needed things to be done in Salesforce that I, as a non-developer, just couldn’t do.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Melonleaf first helped us with a Salesforce-coded program that allowed us to manage install packages.

Along the way, they have done other assignments and products that have helped us increase functionality on Salesforce. For example, instead of manually sending email requests one by one to each leasing agent and broker, the team has created an automated Salesforce program that sends all these emails with the click of a button.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact has been Lalit (Founder & CEO). I’m not sure how many team members work on the projects behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Melonleaf Consulting?

I posted a job request on Upwork for someone to help me with an installed package that I needed to serve multiple users, which was greater than the number of licenses I had for that. I talked to 4–5 agencies that said it couldn’t be done and wouldn’t work.

Melonleaf was the only agency that said they could do it. I went with them and was very pleased with the deliverable. From that point on, I’ve never submitted a public job offer again; whenever I need something done, I just go with Melonleaf.

How much have you invested with them?

Our business has invested less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership started in July 2020, and we are currently working on new projects.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Like the email example I mentioned, Melonleaf’s solutions have helped us save a lot of time on work we did manually because we didn’t know how to automate it within Salesforce.

How did Melonleaf perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate primarily through the messaging chat on Upwork and send emails when needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Since the first job posting about the install package, they have had a can-do attitude and know ideas on how to solve things. They had never done something like that, but they found a solution to it because of their experience, track record, and time spent on Salesforce. The others that I interviewed didn’t come up with a solution because of maybe a lack of creativity or understanding on their part.

From start to finish, Melonleaf Consulting has been very responsive to understand my business needs and excellent to work with. It’s been a real pleasure and they’ve been able to help me with every single job. Their ability to deliver sets them apart. Once they prove themselves, there’s no need to go with anyone else.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have anything for them to improve.

Any advice for potential customers?

My advice to them is to explain clearly the challenge or situation to the team. Provide them with as much information as you can; they will take it from there and do a very good job. Nonetheless, if you don’t provide enough information, the team will ask questions to find out more about the project so they can propose a better solution to the problem.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Sales Operations Manager for a Southern California based business to business direct lender. The company has approximately 50 employees, and we provide financing in all 50 states and have structured transactions abroad when companies have a US presence.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Melonleaf Consulting?

Our initial requirement was for Salesforce Lightning Migration from Salesforce Classic. We further engaged with Melonleaf to provide a full optimization of our Salesforce Org which included custom business development using Lightning Aura.

What were your goals for this project?

To maximize the features of Salesforce Lightning, transition seamlessly, and improve the overall efficiency of our Salesforce instance.

SOLUTION

How did you select Melonleaf Consulting?

We spoke with several consultants while researching our needs for this project. The Melonleaf Salesforce Architect understood our exact requirements and was able to suggest the best solutions for the Salesforce Org. He was clearly an expert in this field and we were confident in moving forward with Melonleaf immediately.

Describe the project in detail.

Our Salesforce Org. was over 5 years old and needed to be migrated over from Classic to Lightning. This included several Visualforce Pages that needed to be converted to Lightning. Additionally, we had a rather complex business flow that needed to be automated using Lightning customization and auto-triggered processes.

What was the team composition?

We worked with 1 Architect and 1 Developer at Melonleaf.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our Salesforce Org was migrated to Lightning successfully and the transition was extremely smooth for our entire team. The automations that Melonleaf designed and implemented have eased our sales team efforts considerably, and brought much needed efficiency to our System.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was top notch, and we typically met every other day via video conference. In addition to the strong communication skills, the Architect always cleared the estimate of deliveries.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team at Melonleaf certainly brings with them a tremendous amount of Salesforce experience. They were extremely effective in carrying out the work we required, and added tremendous value by suggesting additional solutions to the Salesforce platform that we didn't know were possible. They are our go-to team for any Salesforce related work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing that I can think of. We are extremely impressed with this company.
