BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a chiropractor, and I’m the primary doctor and owner of our offices in Jacksonville, Florida. We specialize in injury rehabilitation and a little bit in wellness. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Media Spearhead?

We wanted to gain the right clientele for our business. Primarily, we were looking to treat automobile accident cases and people who’d been involved in slip and fall injuries. 

In Florida, personal injury accounts for a large percentage of a practice’s collections. With that in mind, we hired Media Spearhead to help us get the results we were looking for.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Before I hired Media Spearhead, I was running Google Ad and SEO campaigns with success. I was learning and getting involved with it, but it was time-consuming, and it deserved more attention than I could give.

Robert (Co-Founder) convinced me to see if he could deliver results with the same budget that I had. Then, I gave him a handicap: from my initial budget, I took out the fees that he would’ve charged me as a regular client. In other words, he worked on this project with an even smaller budget than I had. After that, I decided to let him manage our campaigns moving forward.

What is the team composition?

Initially, I was only working with Robert. Now, I’m also working with Ricky (Co-Founder), and I’ve been working with the two of them for six years now. 

How did you come to work with Media Spearhead?

I met Robert through a mutual contact person. I could tell that Robert was knowledgeable when I spoke with him, and that was the reason I chose him over other companies. We’d talked about the nuts and bolts and the mechanics of the actual campaigns. Not only could he explain them from an end user’s standpoint; he also had detailed knowledge of how to do them by himself. 

In contrast, other companies’ sales representatives could talk about how to do things, but they didn’t know anything about the campaigns when it came to actually implementing them. They only had a technical person running the campaigns, and they had another salesperson selling the services. Neither of those people could do the other person’s role. Robert, on the other hand, could manage the campaign and break it down for me. He could explain it upfront and make it logical. That was why I chose him. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent north of $20,000 on this partnership. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in March 2015, and it’s ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

For every ad dollar I spend, I’m getting $3 back. Even with a limited budget, Robert produced better results than what I had before. I’ve been extremely happy with their service.

We were previously getting 1–2 clients a month, but after getting Robert on board, I’ve been getting 2–3 clients a month in qualified leads. In other words, he’s doubled the leads that we’re bringing into our practice even with a smaller budget. 

How did Media Spearhead perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been stellar, and communication has always been Media Spearhead’s best quality. I’ve never had any issues with deadlines, and everything’s always on time. We’ve done a couple of website revisions, and we’ve created and tweaked campaigns quarterly — everything has been smooth sailing. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Media Spearhead is genuine. In this day and age, tons of companies out there claim they can deliver results. However, a lot of times, they’re quick to take our money but they don't deliver true results. With Media Spearhead, when they say they can achieve, do, or provide something for a company, they truly mean it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. I don’t have anything negative to say about them. I’ve been completely happy with their services.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The most important thing is to have realistic expectations when it comes to marketing. It’s a multi-tier campaign; there’s internet marketing, radio marketing, and some ground and pound marketing. It’s a basket — there’s no golden goose. You have to spread your money out; you can’t rely on one form of marketing to be the main source of your income pipeline.
