I'm the founder of a GPS and telematics company that sells GPS devices and applications.

What challenge were you trying to address with MD TECH?

We needed help with mobile app development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

MD TECH developed our iOS and Android GPS application. The app features real-time tracking, live view, trip playback, real-time notifications, an admin panel, and Stripe integration.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 3-4 teammates from MD TECH.

How did you come to work with MD TECH?

We found MD TECH through a referral. We chose them over other providers because of our detailed discussions during the RFP process, their competitive quote, and good references.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with MD TECH in December 2024, and the project was completed in June 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We received constant app builds from MD TECH and could see the project's progress. We expect to have over 5,000 users after the first year and a 4.5-star rating on the App Store and Google Play.

How did MD TECH perform from a project management standpoint?

We had daily stand-up meetings. The delivery was delayed, but it didn't bother me because I saw the roadblocks and understood the challenges we faced.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I had dedicated frontend and backend developers from MD TECH. Both resources were easily accessible and felt like working with my own team. The team truly understood what we were building and provided a lot of value.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We spent a lot of time testing on our end, so I wished they had done more rigorous testing on their side.
