I spent nearly a year shopping around for a marketing agency before deciding on McKee Creative. I got to know them through a referral, but I've had referrals that didn't work out well before, so I was quite careful in ensuring that Jo and her team were a good fit. And they were!

Working with Jo and her team gives me peace of mind. They don't just handle pay-per-click ads; they offer a holistic system of online marketing that includes organic content for search engine optimization and email marketing. Both strategies have not only generated revenue but also maximized the value of my advertising budget.

Their work is excellent, they genuinely care, and they're highly responsive to my needs as a small business owner. I cannot recommend Jo and her team enough.

I’m the director and owner of Easy Exercising Pty Ltd. We have equipment that helps people with various medical conditions exercise safely.

What challenge were you trying to address with McKee Creative?

We engaged McKee Creative to help increase our brand awareness in the market. We also wanted to encourage people with disabilities and medical conditions to come into our facility and exercise safely, without judgment.

What was the scope of their involvement?

McKee Creative has designed and developed our website from scratch based on our requirements. They’ve also helped with Google Ads, designed ads for our Facebook page, and responded to leads when needed. Additionally, they’ve developed tools and techniques to improve our SEO to increase our number of incoming leads. 

McKee Creative has created short-term and long-term strategies to help us build brand recognition and cater to expansion. They’ve also designed leaflets, business cards, templates, posters, and other communications assets. They’ve also created a QR code that links directly to our website to make it easier for potential clients to reach us and learn more about our equipment.

We’ve worked with the owner and 2–3 other staff members.

We hired a specialized marketeer to analyze our business, and they put us in touch with McKee Creative. We had an initial meeting to go over our business strategies, and they shared information about how they could advise us.

We’ve invested about $40,000 AUD (approximately $27,000 USD) yearly, which amounts to $240,000 AUD (approximately $161,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked with McKee Creative since December 2016, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

McKee Creative has created a user-friendly and engaging website that encourages leads to reach out to us. They’ve helped our brand grow and develop, and we’re about to open our fifth location. 

They’ve become an important member of our team. Even amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, they continued to get our name out there, which helped us maintain our business. Each month, we meet to review success metrics, and we’ve seen a 30% conversion rate from leads to customers, which is higher than we anticipated. 

How did McKee Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve built a great working relationship with McKee Creative. We meet weekly via FaceTime and have established an ongoing communication flow; they're great communicators. Whenever they face a roadblock or need to change course, they inform us immediately, and we work together to adjust our strategy accordingly. They’ve also helped us work through challenges with seasonality, which has been helpful. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been most impressed by McKee Creative’s compassionate and empathetic approach. They’ve listened to our business needs and tried to understand them, which has enabled them to provide solid advice. Furthermore, they’ve worked diligently to understand our customers and how to attract them, which has been helpful. They’ve really gone the extra mile to add value to our business and help us grow. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve had very few issues, which they’ve resolved immediately, so I have nothing they could improve on.

Communicate your requirements and set clear expectations. As long as you know what you’re looking for, they’ll be able to guide you in the right direction.

I’m the owner of a wholesaler and retailer of women’s clothing.

We wanted to expand brand awareness.

What was the scope of their involvement?

McKee Creative has cleaned up our branding and helped us define our brand identity. So far, McKee Creative has cleaned up our website to improve our Google rankings through SEO efforts. I’ve provided them with some keywords to use for SEO, but McKee Creative has also developed some themselves. Their team liaisons directly with our website developer to make changes to the site. 

Their team also sends out newsletters every week to promote our brand. The newsletters are made up of information pulled from our website. McKee Creative also runs our weekly paid ads campaigns on our social media accounts on Google, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. I sign off on everything McKee Creative puts out — they do all the backend creative and administrative work so I don’t have to think about it.

We work with three teammates, including Jo (Founder & Managing Partner) and Charlotte (Copywriter & Media Buyer).

After I saw their Facebook ad and sent an email, we discussed the services McKee Creative could offer me.

I invest around $4,000 AUD (approximately $2,600 USD) monthly with McKee Creative.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

At this point, McKee Creative has done more to promote my brand than I had done before. The branding is fantastic and has increased awareness. The quality of work they provide has been really good — I’ve gotten a lot more customers and sales. 

How did McKee Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

McKee Creative is always on time — they use Google Docs to communicate progress. They also provide me with project analytics, which we discuss in our Friday meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team is in-tune with me and really cares about what they’re doing. For example, when our Facebook account got hacked, McKee Creative made me aware of it right away. They constantly monitor my accounts and ensure I can get in touch with them at any time.

No, I’m happy with what they’ve been doing.

If you want to get the most out of the partnership, you need to invest in paid advertising. McKee Creative is also great at helping customers improve their Google rankings.
