We were originally looking to make updates to our website including building additional web pages, a complex calculator, web design, and maintenance. Our goals included clear and eye appealing web designs with a user-friendly interface.

We initially hired them to develop a specific webpage for our site on WordPress. Their team took initiative to blend the already established design with our current asks and create one of our staple pages on our site. We admired their work and efficiency so much, we partnered with the them to be our main web development team. They've helped us with general web maintenance, web development, web design, integrations with other platforms, and much more. They've helped us bring our site to a very satisfying and professional point.

After launching the initial webpage build, we've seen a significant increase in site traffic and efficiency. We've also received incredible feedback on the design of specific web pages and are now able to produce more content for our clients.

Our ongoing projects are communicated via email. If projects were more in depth we were able to easily schedule time to video chat to brainstorm our visions. Projects were rarely delayed but if so, it was communicated clearly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

If anything, I could have been more communicative on projects. They were efficient at collecting everything needed to complete the tasks.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mayabytes, and what were your goals?

Given the rapid expansion of Jon's brand, we wanted to create a custom Wordpress site to capture the essence of his career, speaking events, and product offerings! Mayabytes designed and developed a stunning website to serve as a hub for Jon's personal brand.

Their team has a turnkey Onboarding Process for extracting all of the necessary information, in order to accurately position and showcase a company/brand! Their screening questions were easy to complete and really helped solidify our vision for this site.

Once they learned about our goals, color schemes, design preferences, etc. They went to work to quickly create a Personal Brand Logo and generate Mock-Ups for the site.

The best part is, their designs were nearly spot-on from the beginning and required few revisions prior to development. As soon as we sent over our tweaks, pictures, and site copy they were able to Develop a beautiful website to meet our deadlines!

The site includes opt-in forms, social media widgets, contact forms, parallax effects, and more. We were able to review updates in real-time throughout this entire process and they patiently waited for every last bit of feedback, in order to make the site absolutely perfect for us!

How did you select Mayabytes and what were the deciding factors?

When trying to find the perfect company for this project, we combed through 200-300 portfolios! After several days of research, Mayabytes was the obvious choice! Their design work is clean, modern, eye-catching, and demonstrates brand-personality.

It was really important for us to find a team that produces brilliant work and understands current design principles. Even though we had to dig through hundreds of out-dated, boring, and ugly portfolios to find their team... we're so glad that we did!

On top of that, what charged us was a bargain compared to the value we received in return! Their team is professional, dedicated, and responded to our questions within hours!!

Upon hiring their team, we began with their Onboarding Process. They knew all the right questions to ask to fully understand our goals and website preferences.

Within days, they provided us with multiple Logo options, based on the information we gave them. The Logos were clean and fit our brand nicely! We had a few edits in order to get them to look perfect and ultimately decided on our favorite Logo!

Once that process was complete, they began crafting detailed Designs for our 6-page website. At first glance, it was apparent that they took our brand colors, design preferences, and goals very seriously when creating the mock-ups! With other design firms, we've had situations where the design was so far off that we had to cancel the project. However, Mayabtyes knew exactly what they were doing and made our vision come to life right out of the gate!

They gave us plenty of time to review the Designs and offer feedback! While the look/feel was spot on, we wanted to reorganize some objects, photos, text, etc. after seeing the rough drafts. It was very easy to send them our changes and view the updates quickly.

At this point, we had our nearly-final Designs and their team proceeded with the Wordpress Development. They began with the site's Homepage and made sure that we were 100% satisfied before completing the remainder of the site.

As I mentioned before, they went above and beyond to create a custom look/feel to our site. We took their amazing suggestions regarding parallax effects, forms, image placements, functionality, etc.

Once the final website was complete, they provided training and hand-off documents so that we could self-manage everything moving forward.

Months after the project was complete, they went the extra mile to answer some questions that came up and were very generous about not charging us to make a few remaining tweaks!

We worked very closely with their Creative Director and he did a wonderful job of guiding us through every step of the process! He made sure that we were 100% satisfied and responded to any questions (typically within hours).

Within 3 months of launching the website, we were able to book 5 new speaking engagements to reach a combined audience of over 7,000 people! The site helped us acquire 100s of new customers and nearly doubled our Social Media Agency. The site helped add build massive credibility for our brand and multiple Event Organizers complimented us on it.

Working with their team was very simple!! We did most of the communication via email, although they were willing to use other mediums if necessary. The Creative Director saved us a ton of back/forth by staying organized and clearly communicating our feedback to the rest of the team!

Mayabytes drilled down on our goals and design preferences right off the bat! They got to the essence of our brand and helped solidify our vision for the site. We appreciated this as it save hours of back/forth communication regarding edits!

They were able to produce a turnkey Wordpress site and handed over the controls so that we could self-manage everything moving forward! It's apparent that they care deeply about their clients and won't stop until 100% Satisfaction is achieved.

Even months after the completion of our project, they checked in with our team and provided several no-cost edits on items that we noticed!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Their team was absolutely brilliant - 5 STARS!! I think the only improvement could have been on OUR end, there were times when we took longer than expected to provide feedback and assets, which delayed the project slightly.

Nonetheless, their team was entirely professional about our delays and were very patient with us! It was very clear that they weren't simply trying to complete the project, in order to get paid (like some design firms).

Their #1 Goal was to create an unbelievable website that we were thrilled with!

While the website is finished, Mayabytes’ team still provides maintenance support and upgrades. With the new site, I can keep track of the orders coming in. There has been a significant difference in online and in-store traffic, which is a direct result of their work.

Maya Bytes provided us an overall plan on how the website map should look after evaluating our business and business plan. They then provided us some mockup designs which helped us figure out the color theme and overall look and feel of the website. Once we had finalized the design, the development team worked with us to ensure that they understood the flow of a transaction. Finally they executed the project, showing us progress at several stages so we could realign if necessary. They were flexible in working with us on modifications mid-project. Finally delivered the project on time and also have provided us a marketing plan to help bring more business in. So from design all the way to marketing, this is a full service firm

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Although not too much time has passed since the project we have started seeing a lot of business come our way. The main driver behind our success has been their willingness to go above and beyond to make sure the task is done whether or not it was agreed to or not was a secondary issue.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Since there was a lead project manager assigned to this project, the team used a tool called JIRA for project management so as to make it visible for us to see where the project stood at any time.

They could probably be better at project at how good their team is and since it appears its a rather new business so they can be more confident about their work because it definitely stands out.
