How did you select Maven and what were the deciding factors?

Talked to Maven and they confirmed the budget, timelines, and gave several options for completing the project and demonstrated how the site would work and how I could update the site and receive appointments online. They worked within my budget. Friendly and timely customer service.

They took care of everything, from registering a domain name, setting up the hosting, creating the website and reviewing it with me, and then adding the Setmore account for online booking.

Worked with one person - Shane the FullStack Developer handled everything.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Everyone loved the online scheduling, especially me - it meant most customers could have their questions answered and create appointments even when I was busy. The webpage has been easy update and add or delete content.

They were very helpful and explained and demonstrated everything. Mostly was just phone calls, texts and emails.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They delivered the site on time and within budget. Even after the site launched, if there ever was a problem it was resolved within a few minutes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would have loved to have a full logo and web design but it was just not in the budget. The solution was a modified Wordpress theme to cut down on time. Next time I would utilize more of their creativity and allow them to do a more personalized design.

We just wanted someone that knew what they were doing and could help us along the way.

We went to the people at Maven and asked them to create LMS. Instead of creating one from scratch, the Maven team informed us that we could save a lot of money by using a template. They helped us choose the template and then customized it for our needs.

The project went well. We did have some issues that we didn't see coming, but the Maven people were responsive and helpful and got things fixed quickly.

We mostly communicated through email. They had another tool that they were using, but I didn't really get into it.

They were able to translate my designs into a real application and they saved me a bunch of money!

We had a weekly progress meeting to discuss the project progress and feedback.

They were proactive in assessing our needs and challenges. There were some developers setbacks and many changes as we tested the product. Overall, they delivered in a timely manner based on any challenges and changes.

From start to finish, the overall goal was to develop one application that would provide a Salesman everything they needed to sign additional sales reps and manage contacts of possible salesman, and then also provide the ability, as a salesman, to go door to door and sign new customers to specific subscriptions within our CRM. Created a web frontend to administer accounts, access, etc. Created a mobile application in Apple and Android stores

Needed to move website from proprietary CRM to newly updated wordpress website.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Shane MacKay was one of the original developers and has supported the website for many years.

There was a quote accepted for the project, acceptance of the new theme and navigation, then the creation of a new subdomain and set up of wordpress, finally all the content from the old site was transferred to the Wordpress site. After review and testing the wordpress site was made the live site and access turned over to us for maintaining the site with some training.
